"If you are looking for the biggest "Bang for your Buck", this is the place for you. This little condo was one of the cleanest we have ever been too. It has recently been remodeled and was very well done. Very nice tiled walk-in shower in the completely re-done bath. Perfectly located between Seaside and Rosemary Beach, this condo gives you complete access to the white sandy beaches of Seacrest. This is directly on the beach. The only thing between you and the water, are the steps to get you down the dunes. Owner was outstanding to work with. Only part of our experience that was not good........the unusually cold weather for this time of year in Florida. Even the weather casters were trying to "Appologize"!"

  • Great winter getaway

"This lovely cottage was a wonderful home-away-from-home for my husband and me during our week-long stay in mid February. Everything on one level, only a few sturdy steps at the entry, and parking just outside the door made it easy to get around. The cottage was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well maintained and equipped. The cool February temperatures kept us from using the shaded screened porch, but I imagine it gets lots of use by those who visit during warmer months. The pool was close by but well screened from the cottage and was a nice place to sit, read and soak up the warm sunshine. The storage unit was well supplied with bikes, beach toys, beach umbrellas and more; we especially appreciated using the beach chairs. The walk to the beach was short, and crossing highway 30A wasn’t a problem. The beach itself couldn’t have been more beautiful, and was far from crowded during our stay. However, the many steps required to climb down and back up can present a challenge for some. Construction on highway 30A west of the cottage kept us heading east for dining and shopping. We especially enjoyed The Donut Hole and Salty Sue’s on route 98, where we also found a Publix and CVS for groceries and supplies. The Hidden Lantern bookstore at nearby Rosemary Beach was delightful. The owners responded promptly to our questions about reserving the cottage and provided all the information we needed for a most enjoyable vacation."

  • Can't get enough!

"I have stayed in Seacrest four times and they have all been at this condo. We love the ease of being so close to the large pool, Rosemary and the beach. This unit is right next to a grassy area perfect for the boys to throw a ball. The double bunk beds are perfect for our kids and the two king beds is super. We love the bathroom down stairs and the unit is less than half a mile from the beach. We walk to Rosemary all the time and I love how close it is to 30A to go for a run or bike ride. Seacrest is our favorite since it is in a private neighborhood with a huge pool. The unit could use new carpet and maybe some touch ups, but overall it has everything you need!"

  • Close enough... and 'Far Away'...

"This was our first trip to the Emerald Coast and we came during 'Spring Break'...!!! I agree with all the reviews regarding the cleanliness, the amenities, the east of working with Katie.. there is just nothing to complain about with "Ahhs in the Sand". Because this was our first trip, I can only share with you our perception of Seacrest Beach area... during Spring Break...! You are kind of ... sort of ... 'in the middle' ... Which turns out... was a GREAT thing..! We were close enough to where our 15 year old had so much fun walking or riding his bike to meet the BIZILLION other teens every day/night.. but we were far enough away from the craziness of the bigger spring break madness, which allowed us to feel like we could retreat to our 'space' when we needed. Plus the area around Seacrest continues to develop. Currently the "HUB" (35 shopping/eating venues) is being built and is said to open in Summer of 2015. This area is definitely biking distance. The few eating venues around Seacrest were very busy during Spring Break. Next time we will plan to try them! We worried that we might be too far from the beach or the 'shuttle' would be a hassle.. but the beach access for Seacrest is directly across the street from the main 'Blvd' in Seacrest and CAN be walked very easily. Ahhs in the sand is closer to the front entrance of the community which was also a great location. The only slight disappointments we came across was the FREEZING cold community pool. So many people were commenting on how nice it would have been to get IN the pool... but it was very cold in early April (or at least too cold for me!) ... and the very cute community with people sitting on porches and walking about.. was pretty dark in areas. There are street lights.. but too few and far between to say the streets are well lit at night. I would very much recommend Ahhs in the Sand... Seacrest .. and renting from Katie..! We all had a very memorable trip !!"
