  • Another Fabulous Trip

"We made our second trip to Seacrest for the season and stayed in this house again. Cannot say enough good things about this house and how easy the owner is to work with. Very short walk to the beautiful beach and short drive to great food within Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Seaside! We took our small dogs and they loved it and our 2 year old daughter always has the best time playing in the outdoor shower when rinsing sand off!"

  • New Review

"One of my concerns in booking this property was that there were few reviews and most had some age to them. I shared my concern with the owner of this property and she assured me that the likely reason for the lack of reviews was that she has many repeat guests. After spending a week at this home, I understand why people return. The home is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and has a good lay-out for families. My husband, our children and I stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and my parents stayed downstairs. This was a good set-up for the separate families. I suspect families with teenagers would also appreciate this arrangement. One thing to note, the upstairs bedroom with the full beds has a shower rather than a bath tub and the upstairs master has a bath tub and no shower . This was not an issue for us, but it was a little unusual. The bath tubs were very nice! The beds were comfortable. I would love to see a king-sized bed replace the upstairs master, but we slept well in the queen. The rooms were large with unique furnishings and the storage/closet space was amazing. My kids loved playing on the sun porch which flanked the living/dinning room. It was a nice play space for them. The furnishings on the second floor outdoor space had some wear and tear and could use replacing; however, my husband really enjoyed the third floor balcony. The kitchen was well-equipped. Every time I looked for a kitchen gadget, appliance, etc., it was there. As a mother of young children, I appreciated the sand toys and beach chairs that were provided as I already felt like I had to pack the entire house. Also, from inside the home, the pool could only be accessed through the downstairs master, good from a safety-perspective. Finally, before we arrived, I was not a fan of the rental agency (monthly emails reminding me to complete a rental agreement which I did multiple times, unfriendly staff, etc.), but we had a minor issue when we arrived and it was handled quickly and professionally. This is a quality home, and like our family, I suspect you will want to return."

  • Nice place!

"We enjoyed our stay at Hakuna Matata! It was comfortable and relaxing. The facility is nice. The pool is fantastic. It is a little hike to the beach and you cannot take a wagon for children; however, there is a golf cart shuttle which is reliable and runs regularly. The ice machine did not work in the freezer side of the door and the dishwasher top shelf would stick a lot. The elevator is nice and there are steps to get up and down to the second unit. The kitchen was stocked appropriately. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Nicest Property in Seacrest

"Seafoam is a beautiful property with updated everything! There were 14 of us that stayed there for a week and we had plenty of space. The location is perfect as it is close to the pool, Rosemary and the beach. On a street that never has cars, so the kids played outside all the time. The bikes are a great addition and got much use. They even provide helmets for each bike! The rental company was very attentive and helpful. If we needed anything, they sent someone right over and followed up with a call to make sure we were satisfied. We have stayed in a few properties in Seacrest (all nice) and Seafoam is by far the nicest! When we go back to Seacrest, we know the house we will be staying in!"
