"This was the first trip to the Gulf beaches of Florida for my wife and me. We normally go to Amelia Island on the northeast coast but we figured that the water would be warmer this time of year on the Gulf (early October). Normally, we would be right but a cold front came through and it was a bit chillier than we expected. But, you can't control the weather and, hey, you're still at the beach!! I selected this condo based upon the picture taken from the balcony. Let me tell you, this picture does not do the view justice. The one thing the cold front did was give us sunshine and clear blue skies. This meant that the water was the most beautiful blue-green you have ever seen. It also meant that we go to see some of the most beautiful sunsets each night of our trip.
As for the condo, it was just as advertised and I traded a few e-mails with the owner in regards to restaurant recommendations. She was very nice and prompt in her communications. This trip it was just my wife and I so space was no issue at all. If you tried to get 8 people in there, it might be a bit tight but I spend most of my time outside anyway! Right across the street is a bike rental shop. We parked our car at the condo and rented bikes for the remainder of our trip. It was a lot of fun. We felt 10-years old again! It's about a mile and half bike ride to Seaside but it was a very easy pedal to the great restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend that you get a bike as parking is very hard to come by in Seaside.
All in all, we would definitely rent this condo again. I can recommend it!"

"I have fallen in love with this great home-away-from-home! It's beautiful, has a great location, a good view
from the patio, very comfortably and beautifully furnished (but not so "beautiful" that we can't feel at home, if that makes sense). I think this may be my favorite Seagrove condo we've stayed in over the past 12 years! My sons enjoyed the bunks in the hallway (and the open storage space underneath), and I am IN LOVE with the bed ... I've never slept in a bed that you sink down into like this one, and it's wonderful!!!!! (Almost every other beach condo or mountain cabin I've stayed in has had very firm beds, which I find uncomfortable.) My boys are lucky that I actually got OUT of the bed today!!!!
The condo has been redecorated in some places since the photos were taken, and it's beautiful. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is a larger dresser in the bedroom to provide more storage space for clothing ... it's not a deal breaker at all, just a minor suggestion.
We love Seagrove for the peaceful, comfortable atmosphere, and its central location to activities and shopping available along 30A and along Highway 98 through to Destin. We love Bruno's Pizza (now in WaterSound) and Salty Sue's BBQ (on 98 toward Panama City.) Two things that top our "to-do list" on each Seagrove Beach trip are visiting the Hidden Lantern bookstore in Rosemary Beach, and creating our traditional ceramic tile at Fired Up in Seaside.
Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us!"

"The property was beautiful, very clean, and exactly as described! In previous reviews it mentioned the noise of the air conditioner on the balcony - all the air conditioners have been relocated elsewhere on the property. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night as we listened to the waves and enjoyed the view of the moon reflecting on the ocean. The kitchen is very well stocked. Although, it may not be a culinary artists dream. All the appliances were in great working condition and there was plenty of equipment to prepare anything from a delicious seafood dinner to muffins for breakfast in the morning! (And the ice maker works very well!) Also, there are charcoal grills located just out the font. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. (And I am very particular!) The large was tub was a wonderful commodity. The location is absolute perfection. We walked to Seaside multiple time! We look for ward to vacationing here again in the future!"

"We have stayed at this townhouse for two years in a row, both during the late summer when the rates are more reasonable, so this review encompasses two years' worth of vacationing. We obviously enjoyed the unit the first year enough to book again, even after shopping around at other places in the area.
First, what's to like. We really enjoyed the location. Seagrove Beach is a quiet and relaxing area that retains a sort of rural beach community charm. If you are looking for Olive Garden, stay in Destin. The unit has plenty of room for large families like ours; lots of places to sleep and the master bed is nice. The best thing to love is the pool right out the back door. The kids can play in the pool while the parents sip coffee on the balcony. The beach is about a two minute walk out the back door through a parking lot past a condo building. There are plenty of beach toys and umbrellas for use, as well, although there seemed to be more the first year and several items are broken.
The things that can be improved:
1. Two things that we enjoyed the first year that are now gone are the bicycles and the porch swing. I've read the other reviews and the visitors' comment book in the unit and two common things are mentioned repeatedly: the bikes and the porch swing. Especially the bikes. I understand most rental units probably don't supply bikes for guests, which is precisely one of the main reasons we selected to return. Imagine our kids disappointment when we arrived and they immediately initiated a search for the missing bikes. Alas, they never found them. If I had known this, at least I could have brought our own bikes. I hope both are missing only temporarily.
2. The unit could be better supplied. Nice coffee maker, no coffee filters. Limited supply of paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. The ice maker in the fridge doesn't work. If this all keeps the price down, so be it. Just be prepared to supply certain things yourself.
Overall, the place is nice and from my shopping around, the rates are competitive. It is as described in the ad (with the exception of the bicycles and porch swing). Great location, great beach. Will definitely consider returning for a third time next year (but please bring back the bikes!)"
