"We really enjoyed our stay at "Riley's Retreat." We especially loved the 3rd floor screened porch and the private pool. We rented bicycles for our week long stay, some days we did not drive our vehicle anywhere. Everything in the house was exactly as the pictures show."

"We have been staying in the 30A area for well over a decade. From Grayton Beach down to Rosemary. Old Seagrove Beach is our favorite and we choose to return there each year particularly to Sugar Grove. The advantages to staying in Old Segrove is that you have prime location for walking to markets, unique shopping, fine and casual dining, bars, and activities for families. It is literally two blocks to walk into the Seaside neighborhood. If you are looking for a more quiet and secluded stay surrounded by oak trees and sandy paths then this is your place. Beach access is just two blocks straight down the street and we always call the same guy for weekly beach chairs. He setups the chairs for us each day early in the morning.
The Sugar Grove House is like staying in a "newly built" old style farmhouse. You have all the comfort but full of charm. Spacious and comfortable downstairs living area with well equipped kitchen. Bed are comfortable with well supportive mattresses. The house is also stocked with extra items like basic pantry items, extra paper goods, lots of good books to read, sand toys for the beach, bikes, chairs, etc. Lots of linens and towels too. It has a more homey feel.
If you are looking for a more quiet farmhouse feel while at the beach then this is your place."

"This house is wonderful for a family reunion - we had 24 plus two toddlers and we all fit nicely. We stayed for a week and cooked every meal - breakfast, lunch, dinner - and there are ample dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to cook gourmet meals. The grill works very well too - no need for propane - uses natural gas line. Washer and dryer are also great machines that can take a workout. The house has nice decorative touches. The beach access is right across 30A - very convenient. You can ride bikes to Seaside (1.5 miles down 30A) but don't have to stay near all the congestion - and the beach is not crowded! Well stocked grocery and wine stores are also very close - ride bike or hop in the car (5 minute drive). Beach Reunion staff are very responsive and professional. We loved this house and will return!"
