"We are a group of retired teachers with spouses and friends who vacation together twice a year. This is our second visit to SeaNest; it is IDEAL for our group. We love that the house is directly on the beach, has five separate bedrooms and four baths, includes adequate utensils and cooking gear, and feels like "home' to us. The owners are easy to work with and are prompt in their responses. We will return as often as possible to this perfect vacation house."

"We loved our stay in Seagrove. The cottage (it looks and feels like a cottage but is really good sized - plenty of space) is very well appointed. It has a beautiful kitchen, great electronics for movie nights, beautiful porches and "crow's nest" decks for great stargazing. The first half of the week was me, our eldest daughter and her friends (high school seniors). My job was to stay out of the way.
The teens had a blast, loved the beach and had a great time hanging out and cooking in. The house is nicely appointed to spend time with a group.
Second half of the week was our family: my husband, me, our four children plus a friend; sleeps six comfortably (2 queen BRs, a daybed with trundle in turret plus a cool little daybed alcove off kitchen). Again, great amenities - great assortment of beach toys to the delight of our 8-year old and lots of decks and porches for "space" for our three teenaged daughters to hangout, sunbath and chat. The turret room and its porches were a huge hit with our girls.
The beach is gorgeous and an easy walk (5 minutes tops). Great area to bike ride; easy access to bike paths so 14 and 12-year old enjoyed freedom to roam, safely. We cooked in most nights but there are great dining options a walk or short drive away. The owners, the Hoyts, were pleasant, accessible and responsive.
All in all, one of the loveliest beach homes we've stayed in. This was our first stay in Seagrove and we will return!"

"Practically perfect in every way!! The location is easy to get to. Love the private road with no traffic. Kids are safe to ride bikes, take walks and visit the common pool. Short walk to the beach. Private pool was wonderful! The house is very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The owners are very helpful and quick to reply to questions. It was the perfect family vacation!! Would recommend for families with kids of all ages.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to future stays!"

"We have been staying in the 30A area for well over a decade. From Grayton Beach down to Rosemary. Old Seagrove Beach is our favorite and we choose to return there each year particularly to Sugar Grove. The advantages to staying in Old Segrove is that you have prime location for walking to markets, unique shopping, fine and casual dining, bars, and activities for families. It is literally two blocks to walk into the Seaside neighborhood. If you are looking for a more quiet and secluded stay surrounded by oak trees and sandy paths then this is your place. Beach access is just two blocks straight down the street and we always call the same guy for weekly beach chairs. He setups the chairs for us each day early in the morning.
The Sugar Grove House is like staying in a "newly built" old style farmhouse. You have all the comfort but full of charm. Spacious and comfortable downstairs living area with well equipped kitchen. Bed are comfortable with well supportive mattresses. The house is also stocked with extra items like basic pantry items, extra paper goods, lots of good books to read, sand toys for the beach, bikes, chairs, etc. Lots of linens and towels too. It has a more homey feel.
If you are looking for a more quiet farmhouse feel while at the beach then this is your place."
