  • 4 Families on Fall Break

"We had 4 families, 8 adults and 12 kids from 6-16 years of age. The house was plenty spacious for all and we had a great time. Nice in-ground pool, directly across from the beach access, so you are literally 200 yards from the ramp to the beach. The house itself was very private with plenty of trees and privacy fence. Plenty of parking for 4+ vehicles without getting in anyone's way. The only downside was the alarm on the door going out to the pool. I guess that is a state law in FL. We had some problems with the door knob sticking, but I'm sure that is the most often used door in the house. It leads directly to the pool and back patio, which is where we stayed most of the time while at the house. Everything else was in working order and we had a great time. I would definitely go back to this property a second time."

  • Beautiful and Charming, Comfortable and Great Location

"This was our 2nd stay at the Misner's home-away-from-home house. We love the this place! Nicely decorated, inviting, and has everything we need. Seaside Central Square is about a 5-minute walk or 2-minute bike ride. The beach is 3 blocks away with a convenient access. Many great places to eat, the beach is sparkling and beautiful, and there is great shopping. Rent kayaks from the beach, or go deep-sea fishing nearby. We found two really good places to hike nearby and thoroughly enjoyed that! We went for Spring Break with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and all of us had a blast! If you want to explore a little further, Grayton Beach is about 5 minutes by car to the West and is also charming and full of character. The other direction is Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach- only about 5 miles or so. We have stayed other places in Seagrove and have always enjoyed our stay, but this is where we will come back."

  • Perfect beach getaway

"Our family of 5 enjoyed this house in October of 2013. Our children were 2, 3 and 6 at the time and it was the perfect place for our family. Our favorite parts were the outdoor showers (every house on the beach should have these), the toys, games and beach toys that were already there for us to use, the full kitchen, and of course the sun room. Often after playing on the beach, the adults would get to read on the patio or sun room while the kids played puzzles or legos nearby. Also, downtown Seaside is walking distance. We walked over there one night for dinner and dessert and got to enjoy some of the local flair. This really is a great location for families of all ages!"

  • Spring Break Fun

"My kids and I rented this home over spring break and were very pleased. The house was larger than it appeared in the pictures. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group and everyone was comfortable. The location was good and the Tom Thumb up the street was convenient for snacks and Red Box movies. It was nice having the golf cart to get us to the beach as it was a little bit of a walk.......we did not realize though that the golf cart was only allowed to travel up and down our street.............but still, a nice addition. If you are particular about having nice bath towels I would recommend bringing your own. The kitchen was nice and big (and clean) but I would check ahead for things like a mixer, casserole dishes etc if you plan to cook many meals. I would definitely consider renting this house again."
