  • Wonderful Family Vacation

"This place proved to be great for our family vacation. We had fifteen people ages 13 to 77 from Germantown, TN; Jonesboro, AR; Nashville, TN; Longview, TX; Houston, TX and Jackson, MS (5 adult married couples, one unmarried adult male, one unmarried adult female, three teenagers) and we were able to satisfy all requests for privacy, etc. Nothing takes the place of beach front property at the beach! The pool was used much more than we expected - in fact, every evening there were people in the pool and/or the hot tub. Words do not describe the master suite. It was fabulous. We found it great for afternoon gathering of those who were not on the beach to get together and watch those who were on the beach, while reading their favorite books, catching up on Facebook, discussing the upcoming evening meal or just family matters. We always had to be careful to knock on the door when going to the bathroom because everyone wanted to use one of the fabulous showers. Rick and Karen Bennett were very responsive to all requests and just like family. Convenience to area restaurants, shops, grocery stores was excellent. We ate most of our meals at the house but started out with all 15 of us enjoying a full family dinner at the V Seagrove during the 5-6 PM hour and found the food and service there to be wonderful. We also had lunch at The Great Southern in Seaside one day and dinner at Sergio's in Grayton one evening and both were great. The amenities such as bikes, pool deck furniture, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach accessories, games, movies, etc. were more than expected and most were used."

  • Beautiful vacation home!

"My family stayed here with another family over our Spring Break. It was perfect in every way! There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) and there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. It is really a beautiful home. The owners thought of everything when building it. There are great views and so much light. The decor is beautiful and the kitchen and common areas were very well planned and included everything we needed. We felt very much at home. The pool and hot tub were so much fun for the kids and the parents. And, the short walk down the path to the beach was very quick and easy. We rented bikes and rode to nearby restaurants and shops which was very fun and easy. I would highly recommend staying at My Wife's a Beach! Thank you."

  • Great for a family reunion!

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Triple Crown beach house! We had our family reunion here, there was plenty of room for our large family to spread out and not be right on top of each other. The three kitchens was VERY helpful when cooking our large dinners for everyone! The house was clean, full of all the amenities you would need away from home, and the views were perfect! We loved having our coffee on the deck each morning. We liked the separate access to the 3 "rentals", as we rented all three together and it allowed us to not disturb sleeping children later in the evenings as we were able to gather still in another unit while not cutting through their hallways past their rooms. The yard was perfect for family kickball and wiffle ball games and our hours of cornhole! We spent many hours enjoying time together on that yard-it was also the perfect background for our large family photo! The easy access to Seaside, Panama City Beach and Destin was perfect for all of us to explore and not spend hours in the car to get there. We especially loved the private access to the beach, this was so convenient and allowed us to enjoy the beach literally in our backyard...and prevented the kids from running straight to the water, as they couldn't see it. The pool area was another plus! The parking in front of the house was great! After driving around the town and seeing about 2-3 spots for cars at the other homes, I was very glad we picked this house as we all drove in from all over the US, some families brought two cars and there was plenty of parking for all of us, including those that didn't stay at the house! The owner Karen was nothing but helpful through the whole rental process. She was readily accessible to any questions we had during our planning process. I would recommend our friends and family to rent from her and her team as they made this experience seamless from start to finish! In all this house was perfect, as we didn't need to leave to find something to do! We were so sad to leave and would come back in a heart beat!"

  • Gorgeous sunsets and well equipped kitchen

"My family and two others (with teen children) rented this house for the week of Thanksgiving. It was PERFECT! The house is conveniently located in Seagrove just minutes from the Publix, many restaurants and the popular resorts of Seaside, Watercolor and Rosemary. It has a beautiful ocean view from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies, and you are steps from the beach right outside the back door. We did quite a bit of cooking for Thanksgiving and during our stay. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with pots, pans, baking dishes, bowls, plates, utensils, etc.. Plenty for a large crowd. We even found an electric carving knife in the pantry for our turkey. There is also a huge pantry for storing dry goods and supplies. Unlike some other places I've rented in the past, this house had basics such as salt & pepper and plenty of coffee filters and dish soap upon arrival. This was much appreciated. The living area is very comfortable, and the kids had plenty of space downstairs. We all agreed that it was a place we would rent again. One thing to note - because it is on three levels - you might take that into consideration with small children or older adults - there are quite a few stairs."
