  • Great Condo

"We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Very clean and had everything we needed. The owner is very nice and quickly answers any questions you may have. Hope to rent this condo again in December."

  • Very nice

"I highly recommend this property. We came here for a family spring break with our four children. It is very convenient to one of the nicest beach locations in 30a. The beach adjoins a state park, so it was very uncrowdes even during spring break. The golf cart was perfect for transport back and forth. My kids absolutely loved riding on it. The condo itself is beautifully appointed. The fact that we could bring our two dogs was a huge selling point for us. The beds were comfortable. The use of the three bikes was fun for exploring. Mary was great to work with is and even mailed back some of the makeup my wife left at the condo. Overall a five star experience!"

  • Absolutely stunning condo!

"This is an absolutely gorgeous condo with all the amenities of home and then some. The rooms are all gorgeous, decorated so beautifully with artwork and lovely textiles. This is our 7th year staying in the Seaside area and we will definitely try to return here. We went down with our 3 children, all nearly grown, and everyone had private space. The views from the family room and master bedroom are just so lovely. There are many restaurants VERY close by (check their guestbook for ideas on where to go and what to do, it is very handy!). If I can save you any work, please see if this condo is available and book it. Location, quality, price, beauty, you will not be sorry. We had such a nice week here."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
