  • Perfect for Peace

"This is perfectly sized for a single person or couple. On my own, I could see staying here for a month or longer. The walk to the beach, at only about 100 yards, is easy to do. It rained most of the time I was there so I stayed inside much of the time, but I didn't feel cooped up. While you can't see the beach from the room, it's still nice to have the giant doors open to hear it and smell the salt breezes. The space is nicely decorated. I like that they reused, recycled or re-purposed things to create the decor...and very cutely, too. The queen bed was very comfy. The kitchen had everything needed to make a meal with plenty of counter space to spread out or serve as an eating area. Bathroom was very clean and a good size. Plenty of space to put away clothes or stow backpacks/beach stuff. Covered parking was nice. Wifi and cable TV worked well. I highly recommend staying here. I plan to again."

  • Great Stay!

"My family and I absolutely loved our stay last week at this condo. The description was completely accurate. The condo was beautiful and we loved being able to watch the ocean from just about every room in the unit. The owner was great in getting one problem solved for us immediately when we first arrived regarding the housekeeping. The condo is close to all kinds of shopping and retaurants, yet not right in the middle of it. I would definitely recommend this rental for friends and family and we will hopefully look forward to staying here again in the future."

  • Amazing Grace....Our new favorite home in Seagrove!

"From the moment we pulled in to the driveway we were impressed! So spacious with such a great layout. The home Is very nicely furnished with comfortable beds as well as a nicely stocked kitchen. It was perfect for our group of 10. My children are 17, 24, & 28 and all agreed that this home was their favorite of all homes we have had the pleasure of renting. Location was so easy and almost as good as being oceanfront. Seaside & Rosemary Beach are within a short drive. We were so delighted to discover boogie boards, floats, a few chairs & umbrellas for our use. Vicki was an absolute sweetheart to deal with. We had no issues at all while we were there. Just an overall wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Amazing Grace. We hope to return again!"

  • Great location

"We loved the location of the condo, was close to everything. Would definitely recommend to others. Only negative experience was room wasn't ready when we arrived at check in. Had to wait almost 3 hours after our 12 hour drive to get into our room, was not good at all, we were exhausted."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
