"We loved the area, the closeness to the beach, everything. The beach is amazing. the house comes with everything you need, even a highchair. We put the children upstairs and did not hear from them all week."

  • Seagrove Condo

"My family and I really enjoyed staying at this condo! It was so beautifully decorated and in a great location! Short walk to the beach. If you need to drive to the beach so you don't have to lug everything down by hand, there is a great beach access with a parking lot that always had a space available! Loved the pool. Everything was marvelous! Would highly recommend. The only thing needed are some extra wash cloths and dish cloths. There were only two wash cloths."

  • Fantastic Girl's Weekend!!

"We arrived Thursday for a long weekend and were blown away by this condo. It is so spacious and had plenty of room for us all to spread out. The view was amazing and it was so nice to be right on the gulf. We enjoyed lounging on the balcony with our coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. The beds were super comfy and the condo had everything that we needed. The bonus of beach chair set up was great and the Tony w/chair service even set up chairs on our arrival day as a courtesy, super accommodating with a smile :)!! Scott was amazing to rent from. Each time I contacted him he replied promptly and provided us with great tid bits about the area and answered any questions we had. The artwork in this condo adds a fun touch as well. I hope to book again for next year and will definitely reccomend this property to family and friends. Loved it!!"

  • Can't wait til next time !!!

"My husband and I just returned from a week's vacation here. We had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect. This was our second visit to this condo. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The furnishings are very comfortable. Loved that each bedroom had their own flat screen TV and private bathroom. There is a full size washer and dryer. The kitchen was well equipped and loved using the beautiful dishware. Enjoyed being on the ground floor. Made coming and going very easy. The pool was well maintained and we never had a problem finding a chaise. The location of this unit is great. We are already looking forward to our next visit."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
