  • Great!

"Everything was as advertised and better than could be imagined...impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, complete with all your household needs and utensils. Access to the beach-couldn't be closer while restaurants and shopping are but minutes away. The layout of the condo is extremely functional and, although it was only my husband and myself, the twin beds and sofa would not cause an issue for a larger group. We enthusiastically recommend this property to others and would not hesitate to return."

  • Pure Perfection!

"This was our second time at Kismet and it lived up to it's reputation as our favorite house in our favorite neighborhood in our favorite seaside town. The house additions just made our stay that much more enjoyable for our family of four and two extra guests. My only regret is that we didn't spend more time in the media room but we did love the big screen and surround sound when we did get to watch a movie. The back screened porch really helped in extending our livable space and gave 6 adults plenty of space to have some alone time. I loved reading in the big chairs in the master sitting room and enjoyed the privacy the lot provided, even on the front porch. Pure perfection!"

  • Exceeded Expectations

"We had a wonderful time at your condo! Everything exceeded expectations, beginning with the basket of fruit and wine, the well-stocked kitchen, the beautiful decor, the incredibly spacious deck, the priceless view, and marvelous pool. Thank you for the personal touches. Happy in Indiana"

  • As advertised

"This was our first visit to Shutters. Everything was exactly as advertised including beach access. The pool is private and idea for the grandkids and adults. The proximity to Seaside made it easy to enjoy the amenities there, but we preferred the Shutters location as it is not nearly as congested. A much more relaxed location. We would highly recommend Shutters."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
