  • Great Management. Wonderful pool.

"Went to Seagrove for my brother's wedding. We had a wonderful time. The house was very nice. There were even some left over pool toys and beach chairs for us to use. Pool was great alternative to the beach, which was a bit too rough for us. There is currently some construction going on, but alas, this is temporary. I imagine they\ll be done by January or so... Did have some conflict with the tenant who did not like that our dogs were barking in our absence. We tried to resolve this by moving their kennels while we were away. Both of our dogs are hound mixes, so they have quite a bark. The tenant was a bit annoying, I must say. I did speak with management and they were very understanding and it was all handled very professionally. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Previous guests had also left some soap (thanks!). Publix was very close and convenient. Bicycling paths were bountiful. Pros overall: Great Management. Nice pool, maintained nicely. Once the construction is complete, it will be a nice quite cul-de-sac. Secure fencing around pool. Property landscaping was nicely maintained. Screened in porches. Outdoor shower. Plenty of dishes in the kitchen. Downstairs bathroom had an amazing rainfall shower head. While the salty air has rusted the bikes, they were still functioning. Bedrooms were comfortable. Toys for my nephew to play with when he came over. Lots of books to read by the pool. WiFi worked great. Cons: Somewhat difficult path to ocean, but easy if you walk or ride the bike path. Lack of storage in Master bedroom and kids bedroom. Nowhere to unpack kids clothing. No outdoor area for pets to run freely. Cable was hit or miss, mostly miss, but we weren't there for that! Management was very communicative with me when she was needed. Photos do accurately depict the house. Thanks!"

  • Great Beach Escape!

"This condo was exactly as described. It was well equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrellas. It was cutely decorated and clean. The courtyard and pool was well maintained and professionally kept making coffee on the balcony every morning a joy. Not only is it a short walk to the beautiful beach (less than two minutes), It is a shaded walk. The owner was easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. We will definitely be returning in the future."

  • Seagrove Condo

"My family and I really enjoyed staying at this condo! It was so beautifully decorated and in a great location! Short walk to the beach. If you need to drive to the beach so you don't have to lug everything down by hand, there is a great beach access with a parking lot that always had a space available! Loved the pool. Everything was marvelous! Would highly recommend. The only thing needed are some extra wash cloths and dish cloths. There were only two wash cloths."

  • The best place in Seaside!

"Leaving the winter chill behind, we journeyed to the beautiful beaches of Seaside. The carriage house was like being home! The carriage house is aptly named--it is a house! With a beautiful kitchen and all the amenities, you come home to some blueberries, chocolates and a bottle of wine! One cannot help but feel at home. The living area is large, with a table and chair as well as a desk, besides the comfy couch and fun swivel chair. There are books to read and cable TV. If you want a movie, bring your own or even ask Jack (the owner) and I am sure he would lend you one. The bedroom is spacious and welcoming and lots of closet space. The bathroom is unbelievably large and the shower can fit four! Not that you would ever have four people in a shower, but it is huge! The porch is the best part as it has a view of the forest and is completely private. The house is far enough off the main drag that you feel you are in your own private paradise....and it is just that! And if that isn't enough, there is the pool and the hot tub and bikes. No need to go rent them, they are here for free to use as you please. Jack makes the package complete as he will be your guide to the best places to go as well as help you out with whatever will make the trip more memorable. We will be back for sure! One could not ask for more when visiting this piece of paradise! What a great vacation home, away from the tourists but close to the beaches and the town. Truly amazing! We are so glad to have found you!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
