  • Seaside Condos; Florida 30a; Excellent location; Very good accomodations

"Location of Seaside Condos was withing 1/2 block to public beach access, allowing quick access for viewing sunrise and sunset over Gulf. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and furnishing were well maintained. Due to 2nd floor location, if a young child/family is renting upstairs, there may be some noise, but that is due to construction of condos. Location at Seaside beach allows bicycling west or east to visit nearby visits. We plan to return in Spring."

  • Can't wait to do it again!

"The condo was pretty, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was away from the crowds, but close to the beach. We drove to the neighboring beaches and towns to enjoy, but were always glad to get back "home" to our quiet condo each night. Our teenagers enjoyed it too. Yvonne was particularly delightful to work with. We miss the time spent on the deck and walking to the walking to the water each night to say good night to the beach (in our pj's). :)"

  • Fantastic Views

"My husband and I stayed here for our week away. The condo is a 3rd floor end unit (no elevator). The views are fantastic! Everything has been updated and was very clean. Check in was easy with no issues. Beach is beautiful and clean. Love this place! I was certainly not ready to return home when my week ended! I would absolutely rent this place again."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
