  • Terrific beachside condo!!!!

"The condo was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! The view is spectacular, bed was very comfortable, the decor is simply adorable and we basically loved everything about the property. It is also conveniently located to several restaurants and a bike rental place across the street (we biked to rosemary beach--was awesome). Randi was very attentive to our needs and keeps her condo in excellent condition. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Very nicely furnished and convenient to everything

"We have stayed in beach rentals at Dauphin Island, AL and Navarre Beach, FL. This was our first time at Seagrove and this townhouse met all our needs. It is very nicely decorated and the kitchen was especially well furnished. The view from the beachfront bedroom was perfect!. We will probably be staying here again."

  • Perfect Location and Quiet Clean Place!

"The condo is a 5 minute walk to the beach, next to Tom Thumb which is very convenient. The place was very clean and quiet. Our dog had a great visit too, everyone seemed to pick up after their dogs in the specified area. We rented bikes from across the street and rode those to Seaside every day, perfect spot! We love going to 30A and will definitely rent from Matt again!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
