  • Comfortable and relaxing condo

"My family and I stayed at this condo and we didn't want to leave. We arrived a little early and the owner let us come in while they were cleaning to change into our swimsuits. The housekeeper Brad was very nice and friendly. We were very much impressed. The owner also had a little present waiting for us on arrival :) We loved the cards. The condo is a short walk to the beach (0.3 miles per GPS). On the way to the beach you pass a gas station which we went to it everyday. Its stocked better then a regular gas station. We were able to walk there from the beach and get pizza, nachos, drinks, etc and bring it to the beach with ease. We went to the beach everyday and enjoyed being beach bums. The closet had a nice suprise of a covered shelter (we didn't use because we brought our own), a boat, kickboard and a cooler. The kichen had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies. If you rent a bike, you can bike around the town and not drive. It is a great friendly community. Thank you for letting us use your condo and we will be back next year!"

  • Lovely relaxing house, owners a joy to work with

"My husband and I spent several days at the Classic 50s Beach Cottage and we had a wonderful time! The owners were a joy to work with - very easy arrangements for reservations, check-in and check-out (probably the easiest I've ever worked with on vrbo), and they graciously accommodated our dog, a border collie, so not a tiny animal. There was a deck in back of the house and a fenced yard, so we felt secure to let our dog roam in and out freely. There was a Florida room on the front of the house that was secure for us to leave him with his crate when we went out - perfect! The house is of course older, and it's kitchy and slightly mismatched, but in a fun way. It is located down a sandy road in groves of trees - so peaceful and quiet. Just across the street is the beach access - very close. It is literally about a block or two to Seaside, so you can enjoy all the shops, restaurants and entertainment easily, but then it's nice to retreat to an older, calmer area to relax and unwind at the end of the evening. Literally just around the corner you'll also find the Seagrove Market, for food, supplies and casual dining, and V Seagrove for upscale, white-tablecloth dining. If you want to stay in, the kitchen is huge and has plenty of utensils, pots, pans, plates and cups, etc. There's a bedroom at the front of the house and one at the back, with a bathroom between them. There is no bathtub but a large glass-enclosed tiled shower and a lot of counter space. The living room was comfortable and everything was open and roomy. Keep in mind, this is an older house, so you may see a spot of rust or chipped paint every now and then, but nothing to worry about. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Both owners are easily reached by phone and live nearby if you have any problems or need anything."

  • Very Pleased

"I thought this condo was very nice. Although it wasn't ocean front, it was only a few steps away from the ocean, and the master bedroom balcony offered wonderful views of the ocean. This was a very quiet condo, and I never heard anyone in any of the other condos the whole time we were there, which is very nice. Management handled major issues immediately and were very friendly. This condo is only about a mile away from Seaside and Publix, and only a block or so from a gas station, so great location. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that there was one room with a light out and when the maintenance person came over to fix the broken outlet he said he didn't change light bulbs, which really didn't make sense, so we were without a light in that area the whole week, but nothing major that took away from our enjoyment of the condo. Overall we had an excellent stay."
