  • Did not want to leave!

"My family and I just returned from a 3 night stay in this wonderful condo. It has everything you could possibly need and is very clean. The view is outstanding!! I could sit and watch the waves rolling in forever. There was plenty of space for my family of 5 and the king size bed was so comfortable. The area is very quaint and has one of the nicest beaches I have ever been too. We will definitely be back :)"

  • A Wonderful Vacation on The Florida Panhandle

"We spent 3 months in the vacation condo which was exactly as advertised. For starters, our landlord Matt was a pleasure to deal with. He was personable and easy to contact if we needed anything. We felt that even though we did not meet him in person, he took pride in his property and was very concerned that his tenants enjoyed their stay. The condo was clean and relatively spacious. We did have another couple spend a few days with us and it was comfortable for 4 people. The condo was located in a nice neighbourhood close to a number of nice restaurants which offered reasonable Happy Hour half price entrees. Also a first rate seafood store is located across the street. The fresh shrimp can be steamed and seasoned on the spot and brought home for an excellent meal. The closest grocery store is about 2 miles away. So if you are purchasing groceries, you really need a car or at least a bicycle. (Bicycle rental businesses are located very near to the property.) We both really liked the bicycle/running trails which run for about 18 miles along the 30A highway. Seaside is located about 1.3 miles away and is a hive of activity. As far as kitchen supplies are concerned, we found that the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cutlery, and appliances. We have visited many beaches in Florida and elsewhere. The beach iwas pristine and we both agreed that this was the best beach we had ever experienced. The couple who visited us expressed the same sentiment. It was a highlight of our stay and we spent hours in long healthy beach walks. It is short 4 minute walk from the condo to the beach. This was our first winter long visit to Florida and we would gladly return to this condo. We enjoyed the ground floor as it was easy to bring in groceries/shopping and it was convenient to come and go with our elderly pooch. The other thing that we appreciated was the fact that the renters and owners were very pleasant. We made new friends, some of whom were veteran visitors and provided useful hints about the best restaurants and shopping. It was NOT party central for the spring break crowd. Owners and guests were responsible and quiet. My only gripe was that a few visitors were not as diligent in cleaning up after their dogs as they should have been. There is no excuse for this as the facility supplies bags and has posted signs encouraging guests to behave responsibly. Thank you for a wonderful experience Matt."

  • Spring Break

"My girlfriends and their kids stayed with me and my son for the most wonderful week of Spring Break at Sandblast!! This house is perfectly situated within the shortest stroll to the beach and to all of the action of Seaside and Rosemary...yet so quiet and private. The community pool seemed as though it was our own private oasis and just outside so we could watch the boys from the main balcony. I am an Interior designer so the decor is very important to me and this house is exactly what I want to spend my time at the beach in... Contemporary and comfortable. The sheets and bedding were wonderful too. All of the bedrooms were so private and the kids loved their entire floor downstairs. The property managers are super nice and attentive... I will definitely be booking my next visits to 30A at Sandblast!!!"

"Our family of 6 really enjoyed our spring break vacation here. This was our 3rd trip to Seagrove Beach, but it was our first stay at the Palms. We loved it! Location was perfect, and the size of the condo was exactly what we needed for us and our four children. Being so close to the beach was great, too. Much better for us than walking blocks from a beach house. We will definitely be returning to the Palms."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
