  • Very nicely furnished and convenient to everything

"We have stayed in beach rentals at Dauphin Island, AL and Navarre Beach, FL. This was our first time at Seagrove and this townhouse met all our needs. It is very nicely decorated and the kitchen was especially well furnished. The view from the beachfront bedroom was perfect!. We will probably be staying here again."

  • Great location and great beach house

"We just returned from our trip. The house was nice, clean and festively decorated. The location was really nice. It was about 30 paces from the front door to the bridge that crosses the dunes. The daily umberallas and chairs at the beach was a really nice perk. We were at the house and beach over the 4th of July week and never felt that our area of the beach or the community pool was crowded. My biggest criticism, which is not much, is that the outsidie bbq grill was smaill for a house made for 12 people. But, the BBQ grill was average size (not small) but wished it was larger. The 3rd floor room was a nice hang-out for the 5 teenage kids. It was a little warm in that 3rd floor den but the kids didn't mind. They enjoyed a place where they played video games and looked at the stars in the evening. I'm grasping to find a criticism. We had a great time and thought the house was very nice and enjoyable."

  • July 2014 Stay

"This house is really great and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Great place for families and parties and hanging out with friends. The best part was the swim pool for the kids and a very short walk to the beach. It is a private area with private beach access and you can't beat it for the dollar here near Destin Florida."

  • The BEST Beach Townhouse Out There!!

"I have been using VRBO for many years and this is the 4th year that I have used it for the Seagrove Beach area and let me say the homeowner Steve is hands down the easiest and best homeowner to work with any question I had we had a response with in minutes. The location was perfect very quiet and private beach. Minutes away from Seaside shops, food, and a Publix. The townhouse was very spacious and CLEAN. Kitchen was well stocked it felt like HOME. The view is amazing you are close enough to enjoy the beach from the big open deck but pushed back enough to have complete privacy, no need to close off the view at night for fear of people seeing in. You can sit on the deck and still see the dolphins. Plenty of comfortable deck furniture enough for a group. Cant say enough about how wonderful this townhouse is highly recommend it if you want an easy relaxed low maintenance vacation. Thank You for sharing your home with us Steve we will come back next year."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
