  • Wonderful Anniverary!

"My husband and I had been to Seaside a number of years ago and thought it would be fun to go back. However, when I started looking at pricing it was ridiculously expensive. That was when I started searching Seagrove and came across The Bungalows. The place was clean and exactly as the pictures showed. It was convenient to everything which was great. Loved having the bicycles and beach chairs/umbrella included. We had a fantastic relaxing week and are already planning to come back. Is it high class luxury, no, but it is everything it promised to be so I gave it a five."

  • Can't wait to do it again!

"The condo was pretty, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was away from the crowds, but close to the beach. We drove to the neighboring beaches and towns to enjoy, but were always glad to get back "home" to our quiet condo each night. Our teenagers enjoyed it too. Yvonne was particularly delightful to work with. We miss the time spent on the deck and walking to the walking to the water each night to say good night to the beach (in our pj's). :)"

  • Fantastic vacation (away from it all)

"Just returned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Here are a few thoughts from our stay (we had 3 adults + 2 kiddos): Pros: - Beautiful home, very well taken care of, spacious and comfortable furnishings - Very quiet residential setting (did not seem anywhere near as on top of everyone as in Seaside/Watercolor) - Pool is literally 20 feet away. We were here 4th of July week and still basically had this pool to ourselves. Fantastic way to cool off after a bike ride or beach trip. - Pictures of this house do not do it justice. It has been very well taken care of and during our trip appeared to have been recently painted. - Garage had Bikes + some beach toys. You’ll still be better served renting, but the bikes were helpful and chairs/beach buggy/toys were great. - Wi-Fi was great. - There were TVs/DVD in each room, which was great to give the parents and kids breaks. - Location- I loved the location (aside from distance to beach), but it is ~1.5 miles to Seaside and in the center of Seagrove. Great dining options in very close proximity (close enough for 6 year old to easily bike). I loved the remoteness of the unit. It truly was peaceful and quiet, which is what I was looking for in my vacation. Cons: - Yes, it is a good trek to the beach (~.5 miles). I actually enjoyed the walk. It is through a lovely neighborhood and then literally 20 yards to the beach. As long as you are prepared for it, it is no big deal. A golf cart would be a great option here. - A minor issue for me was the lack of home basic supplies (spices, paper towels, cooking supplies, etc). Was not a big deal (and generally expected), but it would be nice to have some salt/pepper. Overall: I would definitely recommend this unit. Communication with the owner and rental company were great and easy. We would stay here again without hesitation."

  • Early June

"We did enjoy our week in Seagrove. The owner is responsive, pleasant, and accommodating. The condo is just as the pictures reveal. It was clean and ready on arrival. The bed in the master is super comfy. The pull out couch is a typical, bumpy mattress, but kids would be fine on this. The best part was the chairs, cooler, umbrellas, and beach cart which were high end and in great shape for guests. This is usually not the case. The beach is beautiful as always and access is fairly close by. We also drove a few days and there was ample parking at the public access. Things out of the owner's control were things like flies that bit and left huge marks on the skin and neighbors who were occasionally loud. It was virtually impossible to sit on the deck because of these flies. The traffic in Seagrove has become unbearable because of the new growth and the sheer volume of tourists, but that's not the fault of the owner. Just something to consider. I would recommend the condo to a friend. I just might not recommend Seagrove because of the traffic. It's sad that such a beautiful and quaint area has become so overexposed, but if one doesn't mind that, no other issues at all. With that said, the condo is lovely, the owner was a delight to work with, and the beach is one of the best. If you go, definitely have Grits a Ya Ya at Great Southern Cafe in Seaside and have the drunken tacos at Cowboy Kitchen in Seagrove. Delicious."
