  • Birthday trip!

"My mom, sister and I stayed here to celebrate our birthdays!! Condo was everything we needed and then some. This was our second stay and I'm sure we will be back!!"

  • Wonderful vacation at Emerald Hill

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! The condo is just as it looks in the pictures. The master bedroom and bathroom were wonderful. The view from the balconies was absolutely fabulous! The beach itself was beautiful, but extremely crowded. The kitchen could use a few more items...we only had one dishtowel and washcloth. Some sharp knives and additional serving containers would be great. There were a lot of beach toys in the garage which was so nice. Overall, it was a great place and we would stay again!"

  • Winter getaway

"What a treat Annie's Place is: very convenient location, plenty of space, nice kitchen, tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. This really felt like we were spending time in someone's house rather than your typical rental property. The house is close to the beach, close to the bike path and close to Seaside. So you have the convenience of being near the amenities of Seaside without the premium price. We loved exploring the quiet dirt roads on our bikes, and we took advantage of the fitness center in Watercolor for the cold or rainy days - otherwise we were walking on the beach and/or biking on the trail. All in all a great respite from the New England winter!"

  • Weekend Getaway

"The entire family loved it!! Owners were wonderful, attentive, and extreamly helpful with any questions or concerns that we had. The condo was beautiful, clean, and in a wonderful location. Access to the private beach was great, and the beach service was fantastic. Can't wait for another chance to stay here again!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
