"The condo was very clean and stocked with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the location and like it said, it was very close to the beach, about a minutes walk just across the street. Quite location. The master bedroom has sliding glass doors to a patio on the ground floor and traveling by myself with two teenagers, I didn't feel safe, but it all worked out and was not a problem. The neighbors are very nice and the same with the owners."

  • Great place!

"We had an AMAAAAZING time at Seagrove Beach and Endless Summer was the perfect place for us! It was just enough space, without being too much to keep up with or get lost in. We liked it being on the ground floor just because we didn't have to drag all our beach gear up and down the stairs. The pool is very nice and the shuffle board was fun too. This condo is just a short walk from the pool and the beach as well so we had no complaints about walking."

  • nice vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful inside. We enjoyed our stay. The pool and bikes were great amenities and the walk to the beach was a short walk. It was nice to have the umbrella and chairs as part of the home. I would recommend this home as a great vacation. Few small things - upstairs toilet needed repair, downstairs toilet repair, and someone needs to sweep the front walkway between visitors w/ all the berries that fall from the tree."

  • Wonderful vacation home!

"We have stayed at Forgot Mai Tai several times and have always had a great experience! We have stayed in the Spring, Summer, and Winter and have always had an enjoyable time. The house is very homey and welcoming and it makes you feel comfortable staying there. The beach is beautiful sugar white sand and we enjoy sitting and reading, taking a walk, or swimming in the Gulf (beautiful sunsets too!). The location is great, right on 30A and in addition to the restaurants and shops offered in Seagrove Beach, you are a bike ride or car ride from nearby towns Seaside and Watercolor. We enjoy renting bikes and riding along the bike paths on 30A. The house is fully appointed with everything one needs to have a comfortable stay. The screened porch on the first floor is a nice place to relax, as well as the second floor deck. All of the bedrooms have their own bath which is a great feature. Whenever we stay at Forgot Mai Tai we never want to leave!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
