  • Great Beach Escape!

"This condo was exactly as described. It was well equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrellas. It was cutely decorated and clean. The courtyard and pool was well maintained and professionally kept making coffee on the balcony every morning a joy. Not only is it a short walk to the beautiful beach (less than two minutes), It is a shaded walk. The owner was easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. We will definitely be returning in the future."

  • Lovely Beachfront condo

"My family and I just got back from staying in this adorable condo. Being right on the beach and having that fantastic deck was amazing! Everything you could need for a getaway is provided, especially the kitchen. Our only complaint is the beds. The master bedroom bed was awful, we never slept a whole night through without waking up and in the morning we were greeted with aches and pains. The pull out for our 9 & 11 year old boys was equally uncomfortable. I believe a mattress pad of good quality would easily solve both of these issues. Overall we had a great time! Thanks!!"

  • Great home, close to everything!

"We recently stayed at Emerald Rose for Spring Break - and had a great week. Short walk to the pool- which was never too crowded- and a short distance to the beach as well. Close enough to walk to places to eat, but quiet enough to be super peaceful as well. Great front porch and decks- nice place for the kids to eat. We come to Seagrove every year and this is one of our favorites!"

  • Great Stay!

"My family and I absolutely loved our stay last week at this condo. The description was completely accurate. The condo was beautiful and we loved being able to watch the ocean from just about every room in the unit. The owner was great in getting one problem solved for us immediately when we first arrived regarding the housekeeping. The condo is close to all kinds of shopping and retaurants, yet not right in the middle of it. I would definitely recommend this rental for friends and family and we will hopefully look forward to staying here again in the future."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
