  • Our Best Trip!

"We just returned from staying at this condo and Seagrove Beach. This was our first stay here and we loved it! The condo was very nice. It has all the items from home there that you need. The view from the deck is perfect! I loved hanging out there every morning with coffee watching the dolphins. The picture of the stairs heading to the beach looked intimidating to us because we tend to take a lot of things to the beach to keep the kids entertained but it isn't as bad as it looks. The beach itself is the cleanest beach we've ever been to and the water the clearest! We are thinking this may be our go to place for the beach! Next time we hope to rent or bring our bikes and check out the area more. Lots of neat looking homes and shops along 30A! Thank you for a great condo and vacation!"

  • Fantastic house

"We have rented many houses in Seaside and Seagrove Beach, this was by far the nicest, most well-maintained home. I hate to be too nice, because I don't want to have to compete for our next visit (JK), but this is the kind of house that you LIVE in. The appliances are well maintained, the furniture clean, cooking utensils were great, the space was great, the pool was nice and sunny all afternoon. When the toilet broke, the plumber came out in less than 24 hours, the owner called to check and somebody popped by to make sure everything was in order. Free bikes meant that we could spend our money on over priced food in Seaside! VERY quiet neighborhood so it's very dark at night if walking. The pictures are true, this is a great house. Its two houses in from hwy 395, so it's easy to get to Publix (& the trucks in the morning can be loud if you are a light sleeper) but location, location location."

  • Great vacation home for 2 families

"Just returned from a wonderful week in Seagrove. This is by far the best rental we have ever stayed in. We were close to the beach and restaurants but away from all the crazy traffic. Short bike ride to Seaside. The accommodations were fabulous. The décor was gorgeous. Neutral tones throughout. The kitchen is well equipped. There were porches everywhere so plenty of room to spread out. Several hot water heaters so plenty of hot water. Jane & Jim at Surfside Management were top notch. Be sure to stay here. For great dining try Stinky's Fish Camp. We enjoyed cocktails on The Roof at 723 Whiskey Bravo. Can't say enough good things."

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
