  • Perfect Spring Break

"My family stayed in Bella Blue during the first week of April, and had a wonderful time. Our kids, ages 12 and 14, each brought a friend, so there were 6 of us. The house was spacious and comfortable, and also beautifully decorated. The walk to the beach was easy, and the kids enjoyed using the bikes that were provided. We've stayed in 3 other places on 30-A, and this was, by far, everyone's favorite. Dot was wonderful to work with, too. I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Love this house!

"This is my third time to stay in this beautiful beach house and it never disappoints!! The house, the neighborhood, the beach - it's perfect! The house has comfy beds with quality bedding and the kitchen is well outfitted with anything you need for cooking or entertaining. The proximity to the beach (short 7 min walk), restaurants and shopping is a definite plus. Seaside is a 10-15 min bike ride and the Publix grocery store is just around the corner. The neighborhood is quiet and laid back - great spot to unwind and relax. Can't wait to go back!"

  • Perfection in Seagrove!

"My fiancee and I stayed in Stars & Stripes for a week and it couldn't have been a better experience. The house is in a perfect location in the heart of Seagrove just minutes away from Seaside, amazing beaches, and incredible restaurants. We were able to rent bikes at Cocoon's (walking distance from the house) and loved biking along 30A. The house is immaculately maintained and was the perfect size for when some friends came down to join us for the weekend. All of the rooms are great sizes, clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook a delicious dinner complete with some fresh fish from Goatfeathers which was also within walking distance. The owner was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive to all of our questions we had when booking the house. We absolutely loved staying in Stars & Stripes and are already looking forward to our next trip next summer! I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to have an amazing stay in Seagrove!"

  • This place is PERFECT!

"This unit is awesome! Decor is fabulous and view is beautiful. Located on the 1st floor with huge balcony overlooking the beach. Very Spacious floor plan. Walk right down from your unit to your covered parking spot and then right up the stairs to two huge very clean pools with hot tub or head right out to the beach. Unit is equipped with every thing you need. Location on 30A is great and we loved not dealing with the traffic. This condo is approximatley 3 miles from Seaside. We will definately rent this unit every year!!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
