  • Beautiful Beach!! Great Condo!!

"We just got back yesterday from 5 wonderful days at the beach!! Loved the views from the balconies!! The condo is very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable!! The location is perfect, quiet and secluded, so you actually feel you are " at the beach"!! Condo was very comfortable for my husband and I and our sons and daughter-in -laws!! Plenty of room!! Thank you to the owner for allowing us to bring our little mini dachshund, it was fun having him with us!! We will be returning next year, same time, same condo!!"

  • Great place for people on a budget!

"We love that we are close to everything. There's a pool. Parking is right in front of our unit. Jennifer is easy to work with. The unit is far from spacious but perfect for two people! We prefer to spend our money on going out for dinner most nights during our stay, not on the place we are staying. We would actually love to buy this unit! Plus, they let us bring our fur babies! Most places are weird about that."

  • Perfect spring break retreat

"We often travel to the Seaside/Seacrest Beach area over spring break with a group of friends and their children. Pelican Beach was a great place to stay this year. The location is perfect for adults and children, with easy access to the beach and to Eastern Lake. The house is stocked with bikes, boats, beach chairs, and toys so no need to clutter up your car with extra stuff. The kitchen is well stocked and having an extra kitchenette with small refrigerator downstairs was an added bonus. The lay out of the house is perfect for several families, with large bedrooms, balconies on each level with beautiful views, and privacy for everyone. We will definitely be returning to Pelican Beach in the years to come!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
