  • Wonderful carriage house and host

"My wife and I got away for a few days to Watercolor and could not have been happier with our stay. The carriage house was perfect for the two of us. The location and decor were fantastic... And the owner's hospitality was warm and inviting. The space is cozy and exactly what we hoped for. We can't wait to come back again!"

  • Simply A M A Z I N G!!!!

"This property exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed for our week away and more. It's located in a fantastic area. Just a quick walk to the Frog pool, under 5 min bike ride to the lake,10 min bike ride to the beach not to mention close to a ton of great restaurants/food trucks and shopping. I would highly recommend this property, you wouldn't be disappointed."

  • Great Condo for couple or couple + small kids

"This is a great unit! I have stayed in several different condos at Watercolor over the years and this is probably my favorite. It is very light and bright. The windows all around upstairs in the master were fabulous. Great views from both decks. Deck furniture was well-maintained. The interior furniture has been updated - it is even nicer than what is pictured. Nice sectional sofa (sleeper) in the living room gives plenty of seating. The master is very spacious. Probably the largest master we have had in a watercolor unit. You could easily fit a crib for a baby plus there is the window seat/daybed which could suit a small child. We visited with one teenager who used the sofa sleeper downstairs. The full bath on the main floor (in addition to full bath upstairs) gave her enough private space of her own. Bikes were there as promised and in good condition. Great for cruising up and down 30A."

  • September 2014 Stay

"We have had such a wonderful, relaxing, fun time here!! The house was perfect for our family- 6 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook in. We especially loved all the porches, and the walk-in closets were a nice feature. We hopped in the car and drove to the beach for convenience, but loved that we could just stroll to the Camp Watercolor pool. We will definitely choose this house again in the future!"

Get in touch with nature with a visit to Point Washington State Forest. This 15,000-acre forest is home to more than 10 miles of trails for cyclists, hikers and those who want to enjoy nature's beauty. You'll find that the most popular trail leads you from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you'll see an endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or gopher tortoise if you're lucky. The forest is mostly made of sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps. There are threatened and endangered species that call Point Washington home so you'll want to treat the area with care, but it's certainly a site to see on your vacation.

The kids will love Camp WaterColor in Santa Rosa Beach. They'll get to explore their creative side while meeting other children and having fun at this two-day adventure. The camp is open to young beach-goers between the ages of 3 and 12 and is conveniently located near the sand and surf. Other activities during Kids Camp include field games, splash contests in the pool, stepping stones, hula hoop contests, sandy candy and tie dyeing.
