  • Fantastic 3 week stay

"My husband and I chose to rent this unit for three weeks in July (7-23) to celebrate our anniversary (the first week) and then when he had to return to work, our two young boys came to stay with me. Although it is only a studio, there's plenty of room. The condo is well equipped with the necessities (full size fridge, iron, full bath, etc.). The queen bed was comfortable. The back porch was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. We loved being on the first floor which allowed easy access to the pool and bikes. I think the best part about this place is the location. My husband, kids and I rode our bikes just about everywhere. Restaurants, shops, concerts (SeaCrest Beach and Rosemary Beach), and movies on the lawn ( Alys Beach) were among the many places that we were able to walk or ride our bikes. And of course, I can't forget the most important part... the beach! It is beautiful! We loved using the SeaCrest Tram service. It made getting to the beach (with all our stuff) so much easier. We also walked to the beach several times to watch the sunset... not a bad walk at all... more time to take in the scenery :-) Tom, the owner, was super helpful and available for any questions we had. It was great renting from someone who truly cares about your stay. We will be back again!"

  • Beautifully designed Gulf front Grayton home

"First and foremost for us, Firenze is beautifully designed to capture the open beach and coastline views as well as the sun’s angles. And it’s on the beach at old Grayton. Its vaulted ceilings, too-many-to-count French doors, windows, and decks really “bring the beach, sunrises and sunsets into” this unique home. My wife works for an architectural firm so I've learned to appreciate design. (Yes, there are drapes for privacy but we choose not to use them.) And of course, Firenze has the basic requirements- very clean, comfortable and well-stocked kitchen and bedrooms. But we choose to stay at Firenze because of its unique design and special extras: gulf-front location, 2nd floor private pool, gourmet kitchen, great rooms, pool table/foosball, spacious bedrooms and baths (check out the 3rd floor oversized spa bath and enclosed shower), 4th floor loft and deck, and 3rd floor outdoor dining overlooking the gulf (haven’t found a restaurant along 30A or 98 that match those views). We just stayed there at Firenze in March with friends and highly recommend you stay there. You’ll find Grayton Beach to be one of the quieter beaches along 30A with restaurants (Red Bar, Shorty’s, Pandora’s, Chanticleer, Broken Egg, etc.) and a few cute shops. And Grayton is just a mile from Watercolor and Seaside, so foot and bike are our modes of transportation once we arrive. Also, you’ll find the local property manager is always gracious and helpful with any needs or questions you may have. We highly recommend Firenze! It easily deserves 5 stars."

  • Winter getaway

"What a treat Annie's Place is: very convenient location, plenty of space, nice kitchen, tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. This really felt like we were spending time in someone's house rather than your typical rental property. The house is close to the beach, close to the bike path and close to Seaside. So you have the convenience of being near the amenities of Seaside without the premium price. We loved exploring the quiet dirt roads on our bikes, and we took advantage of the fitness center in Watercolor for the cold or rainy days - otherwise we were walking on the beach and/or biking on the trail. All in all a great respite from the New England winter!"
