  • Best condo yet!

"On our way home from an amazing week in this beautiful condo. We have stayed in 3 other condos in the same building and this is by far the nicest. I loved that it had so many extra things the others did not. Soap for all the sinks, nice beach chairs and umbrellas, iPod docking stereo in kitchen, surround sound stereo in living room, extra comfy bed in master, beautiful tile work in showers, fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The list goes on and on. Thanks Lillian for sharing your home with us!"

  • Nice, Clean, Well-Stocked Condo at Affordable Price

"We stayed at Gary's condo for a week in August (2 adults, 14 year-old, 11 year-old). We were pleased with the condo & enjoyed our stay. It is clean, comfortable, & nicely decorated. The photos reflect it accurately. You can't see from the photos, but the bathroom for the 2nd bedroom is outside of the room, so it can be accessed without going through the bedroom. This was a nice plus for us. The condo is well stocked with kitchen equipment - pots, baking dishes, leftover containers, lots of utensils. There are some books & games. We left a basketball at the condo (didn't want to carry on airplane) & there is a basketball court near the beach access. The patio was great to sit out & look at the golf course & harbor. Keep in mind this is a 2nd story condo. There are about 19 wood stairs to get to condo, so this wouldn't work for anyone with physical limitations. It was fine for us. There is also a storage area on the ground floor with some beach chairs, an umbrella, & rafts. We used 2 of these beach chairs & the umbrella & then rented an umbrella & 2 chairs at the beach, so all 4 of us were accommodated. To access the beach, it is a short drive through the resort area & across the main highway - 5 min max. There is free parking at the beach on a grass / gravel surface. The beach was much more crowded than we expected - 2-3 rows of umbrellas & chairs. We probably could have found another spot that was less crowded, but we chose to stay near the condo. Near the beach access, there is a nice 18-hole miniature golf course & a basketball court. I believe there is a Sandestin shuttle for people with amenity cards, but this condo doesn't have the amenity card. We didn't find this to be a problem - we had no need for the amenity card & it helped keep this condo affordable. In other reviews, I read that the shuttle drivers may only check for the card 50% of the time, but we didn't try it. The condo had a bar of soap in each bathroom, 2 kitchen trash bags, some dishwasher detergent, 2 kitchen towels, & bath towels. We bought paper towels, hand soap for each sink & a sponge for dishes. The only thing we were really lacking was more trash bags, so I'd recommend bringing a few from home. In the area, we enjoyed the the beach, Gulfarium, fishing at Okaloosa Pier, Southern Star dolphin cruise, sky surfing performance at the wharf, The Track (go karts, mini golf, etc), Fudpuckers (feed alligators), Props Grill, & Old Bay Steamer. Good vacation spot for kids & teens!"

  • Great condo; perfect location

"This 2 bedroom condo is on the third floor and the pool is on the same level so it was like having the pool in our backyard. The balcony overlooks the village and it was great to watch the fire works. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay."
