  • Great spring break

"We had a great visit during spring break. The beach in front of this condo was not nearly as crowded as it was just down the road. The refrigerator that was mentioned in a previous review has been replaced. The stove light does stay on but we did not find it to be a problem. The grounds are beautiful as is the view. Lots of green space for kids. Pool area and pool bathrooms were very clean. I will be back to this unit."

  • Beautiful, well equipped snowbird "winter condo"

"We feel so fortunate that we were able to make this our "winter home" for the past 3 1/2 months. This is a beautiful, well equipped condo right on the Gulf. We loved the comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful view of the water from the balcony. Excellent location for shopping, dining out and the heated pool was a plus. Thanks Carla for sharing you condo with us ~ we'll definitely be back."

  • Great Spring Break for a Family of 4!

"Condo was very spacious. Perfect for our family of 4. There was even room for us to set up a play pen for our 9 1/2 month old to sleep in. The balcony had an awesome view and was a favorite hangout spot when we were in the condo. We ate almost every meal out there too! The blue ray player was nice, and the full size washer/dryer in unit were an added bonus, not to mention the laundry room was huge. The kitchen was quite big. Easy to cook and get around in. We were really surprised at how big the condo was. It really felt like a house. The resort was absolutely gorgeous and very well kept. It was also very quiet. We enjoyed just walking the property because it was an attraction itself. The pools were really nice, especially the heated one (although there isn't a sign as to which one is heated!) The property is right across from the beach. We walked down there once, but found it easier with our two small children (one can't walk) and all of the beach accessories to drive over and park in the parking lot in front of the gazebo and beach access. The beach was not crowded at all. It would be nice if the beach chairs/umbrella were included in the stay. Note: There were only about 5 bath towels provided so we had to wash those each day. We loved how the resort was not located in a busy, crowded area, but it was still close to restaurants and shopping. Overall, we had a great trip and would recommend this condo to anyone. The owners were fantastic to work with."

  • Research paid off

"I looked up and down for a condo that fit the budget but had decor and amenities that made it feel like a nice vacation. This unit is a LARGE one bedroom with bunks. The hallway is wider and the bunks are further from the main living area. Water pressure was FABULOUS (a real bonus after the beach) This unit is not fully upgraded but is roomy, clean and updated. The decor was done right for a rental - Calm colors, distressed furniture to hide the true distress. The foam mattress was a little on the thin side but it was the only complaint. The amalfi mgmt keeps the grounds impeccable. Giant Koi in the lake and beautiful grass that looked like a fancy golf course. We were surprised by the treacherous stairs at the beach access. With a one and three year old it was a daily feat but we brought a wagon to haul the gear and kids so we saved our energy for going up and down the stairs. Great Value for a clean condo with a good ocean view (you can't see sand but you can see shallow green water). Great location at silver sands, Baytown wharf, close to 30a, grand blvd, destin commons. Hope to be back in October. Entire booking consisted of one phone call and one email)"
