"The view of the beach from this property was beautiful. Lots of room for all of us between both houses (we had 18 people). We really enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed. It was very nice to have our own pool and direct access to the beach. One thing to note, there is no closet in the downstairs bedroom near the front door and the upstairs floor in the 2nd house slants pretty bad."

"Well I am about 2.5 months late posting my review, but here you go.
Great Location: Sits between two ponds, which are soothing to listen to at night and the one in the front is fun for the kids to watch the turtles pop their heads up or sunbath in the afternoons. If you have small kids there is a great "yard" area for the kids to play just outside the back of the condo, however it is near the pond, so keep that in mind. Not really walking distance to the beach, but a very easy drive and easy parking situation. For the golf lovers it is perfect, sitting on (I believe) the 16th fairway.
Furnishings: The home is well decorated and the furniture is relatively comfortable. Of course no bed is like the one you have at home, but we did not lose any sleep on these or wake up with sore backs like you will at some places. My only complaint is the white curtains in the living room and the cleaning fee (not mentioned in the description, if they got dirty). Understand concern, but with small kids at a beach white curtains on a main entry way is tough to ensure little hands don't get on them or brush up on them. Suggestion would be add to description to alert.
Maintenance: Home had a few small repair needed: running toilet hall bath, a couple of electrical outlets not working/secured to wall (again just watch the kids), but all in all a nice condo.
Owners: The owner was very nice and pretty easy to reach. Our damage deposit did take about a month for its return as I was told they were waiting on the cleaning crew to report back. This wasn't a big deal, but nice to get refund a little faster when everything is paid on time.
Pool was nice, golf was great, Destin entertainment is awesome and the beaches are beautiful.
Reminder it is a ground floor with a condo upstairs. Wasn't an issue for us until the very last night when some rather rowdy youngsters rolled in, but it was 1 night and those kids were excited, but be forewarned.
This condo will definitely be on our short list for 2015 and I am confident should you choose it for your stay you will have a good time.
Note: I am pretty hard critique on things, so take it for what it's worth.
To the owners: Thank you for the stay"

"The view from the balcony will never get old, we watched Dolphins swimming by every morning while we drank our coffee. Early morning beach walks were great. The sky bridge is perfect for families with children, you don't have to worry about crossing traffic. The view of the pool is perfect for parents with older children you can still see them if they are at the pool and you are not. Love this beach!! Beautiful white sand crystal clear water. We will definitely be back."

"Excellent location! Grocery less than one mile away. Several nice restaurants located within a mile on Scenic 98. Outlet Mall very close on 98. Plenty of room in the condo for everyone. Master bedroom is large with a very nice shower (great water pressure!). The kitchen is very well stocked with about everything you would need for cooking. Plenty of dishes, cups, etc. Bring your own coffee mug if you like a big mug. Pool deck is clean with a bar area nearby. The balcony is huge with a great view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico. The beach is beautiful! The walkway to the beach is very convenient and keeps you away from the traffic on the street. There are chairs and umbrella in the closet for your use. We loved the place except for one thing - the WiFi set up is terrible. It is open shared access with the entire complex so it is extremely slow or sometimes not functional at all. Some condos at Surfside have privately owned internet access and routers but this is not one of them. If you have teenagers, they are going to be complaining. Overall, a great place for a family vacation. I would give it five stars if the WiFi situation were corrected. We would go back for sure!"
