Great place to vacation
"Excellent location! Grocery less than one mile away. Several nice restaurants located within a mile on Scenic 98. Outlet Mall very close on 98. Plenty of room in the condo for everyone. Master bedroom is large with a very nice shower (great water pressure!). The kitchen is very well stocked with about everything you would need for cooking. Plenty of dishes, cups, etc. Bring your own coffee mug if you like a big mug. Pool deck is clean with a bar area nearby. The balcony is huge with a great view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico. The beach is beautiful! The walkway to the beach is very convenient and keeps you away from the traffic on the street. There are chairs and umbrella in the closet for your use. We loved the place except for one thing - the WiFi set up is terrible. It is open shared access with the entire complex so it is extremely slow or sometimes not functional at all. Some condos at Surfside have privately owned internet access and routers but this is not one of them. If you have teenagers, they are going to be complaining. Overall, a great place for a family vacation. I would give it five stars if the WiFi situation were corrected. We would go back for sure!"

"We LOVED this Ariel Dunes II unit. We stayed in this unit, while other family members stayed in the same condo building but different units. This place is literally a home away from home. We had everything we would need from beach supplies to pots and pans to books to cable TV to free wireless internet. There are swimming pools at the condo building also. We have a 2 year old and the buildings' pools were fabulous for days we did not want to go to the beach. There is a "kiddie pool" that allows you/kids to walk in from one inch of water to the deeper area so your baby/toddler does not have to get in water above 3 feet if you don't want them to. Also, we hosted a family dinner one night and it worked well with the two dining tables (one inside and one on the patio). The bicycles that are mentioned in the description were not there, but we still had a great time. If/when we return to Destin, we will be staying here again."

"As the cleaner, I would like to address a few issues that have been mentioned. First off, the condo is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Linens and towels are all washed, bleached and sanitized whether they were all used or not, and even if you tried to be nice and wash them yourself, they are washed again. Blinds are one of the most broken items in the condo. When I find broken ones hidden in the closet when they weren't there before you checked in, it is obvious that you put them there. You are supplied with 8 armbands for the pool and it is noted in the guest handbook that you will be charged for any missing bands as we have to purchase them as well. If you lose one, you will be charged. The deck did have stains on it but per our H.O.A., can only be washed when it is raining. It has since been cleaned, bleached and hand-scrubbed. Stains on the carpet happen from guest to guest. We try to steam clean the carpet several times throughout the season, but please understand that it cannot reasonably be done after each guest due to time constraints. The a/c did go out during a guests stay, and IF that guest had notified us immediately, it could have been taken care of immediately. Instead it was fixed after check-out and before the next guest arrived. The shower stall has never seen a spot of mold and remains sparkling white to this day.
Please keep in mind, if you check in and anything is not to your approval, it is best to notify us immediately so that the problem can be resolved. Most of the time within an hour. Since this is a possibility, do not wait until a week after you have checked out to complain about items we could've taken care of the day of arrival and expect a refund for it. We have no problems at all fixing any issues. This season alone we have fixed the a/c, cleaned the carpet several times, replaced all of the blinds, purchased a new sofa bed and a flat screen TV.
