Great Condo, Great gated community!
"We just returned from a week long stay at the Maravilla Condo. The condo exceeded our expectations in every way. It was clean upon arrival and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The patio has a beautiful view of trees and the ocean. We had breakfast and lunch on the patio and it was gorgeous. The condo is completely updated, which was nice. The best part is the close walk to the beach and the pools. The back pool is heated and it was so warm. It is surrounded by Palm trees and very relaxing. The front pool is very nice, but a little cold for spring because it isn't heated. We constantly saw groundskeepers and cleaning personnel keeping the property clean. Another huge plus is that this condo is in walking distance to just about anything. Pompano Joes, Kenny D's, beach shops, coffee shops and even convenience stores. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful Maravilla Condo!"

"We rented this facility for a family Spring Break trip (2 adults plus 4 @ 18 year old High School Seniors).
The facility was spacious and provided plenty of privacy and was in good shape. Our main complaint with the house was the lack of insulation between the main floor and the upper floor which made it pretty loud in the downstairs bedroom -- we could hear every move made in the upper level.
We did have a toilet issue with the upper level, and I did see a cockroach in the cubbard (only once).
I had to buy a new corkscrew since the one there was broke, and the oven didn't seem to cook at the desired temperature -- what should have taken an hour and 45 minutes at 425 degrees, took 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The Destin area is nice, and is very tame -- which is what we were looking for over a High School Spring Break. We did not want the PCB madness, and we were not disappointed - Destin was the right choice.
However, the lack of any transit in the area made it hard on our larger crew to get around without me having to shuttle them or rent a scooter and I would strongly recommend familes bring bikes -- especially for the older teens.
For the area, we went parasailing, deep sea fishing, rented a pontoon boat, saw lots of Dolphins and went on a number of long relaxing walks on the beach.
It was a very enjoyable location and vacation.
Highly recommend any family visit the Common area by Bass Pro Shop, and also the main Marina/village area down by the harbor: must try the fish tacos from the Big Red one."

"The photos and descriptions of this home cannot even come close to doing it justice. This is an incredible vacation spot with wonderful amenities and even better service. Reese is a wonderful hostess who saw to our every desire. We have never been so well-cared for while on vacation. We will definitely be returning to this home and to other properties that Reese manages. Thanks again for a wonderful Thanksgiving!"
