"This was my 1st time at this resort, and let me say...this might be the only resort in Destin I stay at from now on. The condo was decorated so pretty and comfortably, my little ones loved playing in the green space and the walk to the beach was lovely and short. I have absolutely NO complaints! Can't wait to come back!!"

Awesome location close to everything you need for a beach getaway!!
"My family of five just returned from our first trip to the Destin area and our stay at Maravilla #1101. The condo was very roomy with two very large bedrooms and one much smaller bunk room. The furnishings were exactly as pictured and the condo was clean. If you are looking for high-end amenities like granite countertops and fancy decor, this won't suit you, but we found it to be quite comfortable and served our needs well. The Maravilla complex is well-kept with the front pool just a 30 second walk from the condo. We enjoyed the recently resurfaced tennis courts and only used the front pool overlooking Scenic Gulf Drive and the Gulf itself. Maravilla is centrally located within easy walking distance of four restaurants and a coffee shop. Coffee shop is a leisurely 10 minute stroll; the restaurants are closer than that. We woke up each morning and walked the beach to the coffee shop. For lunch or dinner, Captain Dave's, Kenny G's, Pompano Joe's and the Whale's Tail were all within .25-.5 miles with great local seafood and outdoor dining. Parasailing and waverunner rentals are offered on the public beach near Whale's Tail (.5 miles) although I'd encourage people to drive to Destin Harbor for parasailing at a far lower price. The beached rival anything you'd find in the Caribbean with powdery white sand and turquoise/emerald waters. We all had a blast playing in the surf with boogie boards we picked up just down the road at Alvin's Island for $15 each. A must-have! There are baskets of books in the condo so you don't even have to worry about having that beach read along. The unit is managed by Southern Vacation Rentals and the booking and check-in process with them is quite easy. They offer an app for your phone that provides all the info you need to access the unit/complex as well as discount offers for local activities. We utilized the "free adult ticket" offer on a sunset dolphin cruise in Destin and saved $26. I was less impressed with the amenities they offered--they left just 4 rolls of toilet paper for the week, two kitchen trash bags. No Kleenex or even a pad of paper/pen. The unit had a coffee maker but no coffee filters. We picked up what we needed when we were at the nearby grocery store, although I'm sure they would have provided more TP and trash bags had we called them. If you are debating about where to vacation, just book this unit! The price is great, it's roomy and it's close to everything you need!! We'll be back!!"

"While we have vacationed in Destin before, we had never stayed at Blue Surf. We knew we enjoyed the area, and decided to vacation with our little family of 4 (2 kids 5 and under) and my parents.
The first impression was amazing, and the owners have excellent decorating taste. We were worried about stairs and a little one, and he promptly fell down them (no worries, he was fine). It was helpful once we found the gate to utilize that for safety.
There was ample room for 6 people, although again with little ones we were nervous about the patio furniture on the upstairs balcony, and therefore did not spend much time on it. But the views were great, the rental was great, a home away from home! Our youngest kept saying "home for the week," and he was right.
The beach service was wonderful, and the owners provided lots of "toys" for guests to use, which was VERY much appreciated! The pool was always warm and clean, the facilities and ground around Blue Surf were always clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. Noise was a little bit of an issue, but I think that is to be expected at a condo or hotel in peak season.
We very much enjoyed ourselves and very much want to come back again and stay here in the future!"
