  • Winter getaway

"This is our second year enjoying a break from the Northern winter for 30 days. David and Linda are great to work with and their house is outstanding. We travel with our dog and this house is really convenient - fenced yard and not too far from the dog park. The house itself is great - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with TVs in every bedroom too. We really enjoy the front porch every afternoon - sunshine in January - great!"

"Our fabulous week has just come to an end and we are sad to go. Villa coyaba 104 was a great experience. Being on the first floor with kids was perfect. From the daily beach umbrella and chairs to the heated oceanside pool. Manager Tracey made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Cooking out right by the ocean made our beach days even longer. Walking to shops, strolls on the beach, and fishing were perfect. Traveled down to the harbor for fresh seafood to cook as well. Only complaint was the heated pool was turned off April 1st. I think it could have stayed on for the week. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

  • Holiday Stay 2014/2015

"Our family of 13 stayed here from 12/27/14 - 1/3/15. The house is very nice and the location is ideal. We had plenty of room for our things. We brought many amenities that we would need in the kitchen area knowing that we would cook many meals in and fees 6 teenagers. If you are driving here, pack extra paper products, soaps, a dish scrubber and some type of spray cleaner for counter tops and quick clean ups. We also brought tin foil, baggies, Kleenex and our own beach towels. The kitchen set up is great for large meals. One thing we could have used was another refrigerator. For 13 people, we needed a lot of room for drinks and the side by side refrigerator can be challenging. One other note if you sleep on the 3rd floor. There isn't a door, it's an open loft concept and the noise from the 1st floor travels straight up the stairwell so you hear all goings on in the kitchen and living room. So, if you are a light sleeper, that area is not for you. The teenagers loved that 3rd floor for a hangout, tv and privacy. Overall, the house was worth the money and Destin is beautiful."

"My husband and I stayed at Cynthia's condo and it was everything we expected and MORE! Our son got married on the beautiful beach relight in front of the condo. The are offers many great restaurants, stores, and activities for families or just couples. The condo was as described and had everything we need to enjoy our stay. If you plan on using the chairs and umbrella (highly advise it) go down there early and see the guy in the booth to reserve it for you. They are very helpful and hard workers. Your chairs will be waiting for you every day. We would definitely visit Cynthia's condo again. She was helpful and very personable from the start. Thank you for helping make our stay an enjoyable one!"

While swimming, scuba diving, and kayaking are also common water pursuits near Scenic Gulf Drive vacation rentals, water slides are another option. Cool off at Big Kahuna's Water Park in Destin, where you can go on the water rides, race the go-karts, or play miniature golf with the family.

Of course, many Scenic Gulf Drive condos may come with their own pools. It will be there that you find the privacy and relaxation that will make your stay in Florida unforgettable.
