"My family had never been (or heard of) alligator point. Did not really know what to expect. To our surprise we loved it! They house was nice and clean. Plenty of space for all of our things. So close to the beach..easy to go back and forth if needed to. I will definately stay again."

"This is the place for an adventurous family. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with only a couple of minor issues. It was secluded and quiet, but close to beaches. We have a 6, 9, and 14 year old and they all had a lot of fun. The two kayaks worked great, we caught and ate several blue crabs with Joe's crab trap and even picked our own oysters from the nearby oyster beds. Lots of wildlife in the area and the fishing was great (redfish, trout, flounder, even a bonnethead shark!) Alligator point has some nice ocean-side beaches and the north end of Bald Point State Park is a great bay (calmer water) beach with fishing and lots of hermit crabs to find. Don't forget to find the Gulf Specimen Aquarium and the Wakulla Springs State Park on your trip - neither will disappoint you.
Last thing - this place is a CABIN. If you are expect a 5 star condo with granite countertops and new everything, this is not the place for you. This is a place for those of us who like to get up close nature, not watch it from the balcony."

"Overall the property was sufficient for our needs. Comfortable and relaxing for a family of 7 with older kiddos. However there were some kids a couple of houses down that were having a fabulous time as well. The boardwalk to the beach could use some repair but not a long walk to white sandy beaches with great shelling and many sand dollar treasures were found as well. Enjoyed cooking meals at the house instead of going out spending the extra cash. This is what vacations with the family should be right? However nothing is closer that 20 minutes from the beach house as for grocery store shopping. But we enjoyed getting out and taking a road trip to see what we could find. St.George Isle is a good day visit to sit by the ocean and have a picnic at one of the shelters provided in the park. Carabellle is a fishing town with some shopping and some restaurants. Be sure to hit the grocery store/convenience store before you make it to the house. Finding things to do is easy..Just get out and explore..Would visit this house again and refer a friend. Some updating could be done to the décor but sufficient and affordable is what I was seeking and I found my vacation very enjoyable.."

"We had an awesome time on vacation this year. The Heavenly Sunrise has everything you will need and more. When I got there Saturday I never left the house until we had to move out the next Saturday. The only place I went was to the beach. It is so relaxing and quiet. I do recommend you take bug spray because those noseeums will get you. The kids and grandkids fished and swam and cooked. I tasted crab for the first time and I actually liked it. The kids went to the pier and fished a couple times. My son went fishing for the first time and the first thing he caught was a rock lol. (He is 30) He has wanted to fish everyday since we been home. We had plenty of sleeping room and we had our own quiet space when we wanted it. My son-inlaw saw a shark and one night they saw something that I think they decided was a huge turtle. We also saw a stingray. The worst thing was leaving but all good things must come to an end. Hope to go back next year."
