"Wonderful, comfortable, clean, welcoming place to stay, and a great beach for shelling, walking, sunrises, and solitude. Sometimes dolphins, horseshoe crabs and other wildlife to be seen. Great eating places including The Coastal Restaurant and the Tropical Trader. Nearby shopping includes The White Elephant for antiques in Crawfordville. This was my 6th time here and I will definitely return. Super nice owners, too."

"Our family of 10 rented this wonderful beach house for our spring break. It was a beautiful home and very well stocked. You are very close to the beach and it's so quite and peaceful.
We enjoyed fishing. My brother in law caught a 42 inch red fish just off the surf. We also caught sting rays, mackerel, catfish, trout and even a shark. Fishing was fantastic. One of our favorite things was going out at night when the tide was out with flashlights looking at all the sea life. The stars at night were awesome also!!
We have a wonderful visit in this loving home and would recommend to anyone wanting to get away to the beach!!"

"This is a great house located on a little piece of heaven. The beach was beautiful and we have fallen in love with Alligator Point and all of its natural glory. We previously stayed in the Destin, Rosemary, Seaside beach areas for many years. We chose this location because of the abundance of natural offerings and activities. We wanted to be away from the crowds and noise and we could not have picked a more perfect place.
The house is very comfortable and accommodating and is in a great spot on the beach. It was never crowded and there is an abundance of shells, crabs, sand dollars, and star fish to be found just outside the door. The screened in porch was by far our favorite place and where we spent most of the time when not on the beach. The kitchen was great and provided views of the gulf and the bay. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the outside shower. We ate at Angelo's, which was pricey but has fresh and excellent food, great service, and an awesome water view so no complaints at all and we will go back. We also ate at Posey's (you must try their hushpuppies) and it was also very good. We visited Wakulla Springs, which was a great trip- ice cream in the lodge and swam in the cold, but oh so clear, springs water. Perhaps my favorite part of the trip was the long walks along the beach. We walked to the right of the house to the rock and tree filled area (passed the shell tree) and it was absolutely beautiful. This is such a unique area and we will most definitely return and would absolutely stay in this house again. The owners were easy to work with and everything was exactly as it was described. We had a perfect family vacation and are so thankful we found this area and this property. Thanks so much"

"This is the place for an adventurous family. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with only a couple of minor issues. It was secluded and quiet, but close to beaches. We have a 6, 9, and 14 year old and they all had a lot of fun. The two kayaks worked great, we caught and ate several blue crabs with Joe's crab trap and even picked our own oysters from the nearby oyster beds. Lots of wildlife in the area and the fishing was great (redfish, trout, flounder, even a bonnethead shark!) Alligator point has some nice ocean-side beaches and the north end of Bald Point State Park is a great bay (calmer water) beach with fishing and lots of hermit crabs to find. Don't forget to find the Gulf Specimen Aquarium and the Wakulla Springs State Park on your trip - neither will disappoint you.
Last thing - this place is a CABIN. If you are expect a 5 star condo with granite countertops and new everything, this is not the place for you. This is a place for those of us who like to get up close nature, not watch it from the balcony."
