"I dont know where to begin.. when I began looking for places for my family to stay at Cape San Blas, after a couple of emails back and forth to the owner, I knew this was the place for us! She went above and beyond the normal owner responsibly! She told us when and where to scallop and how:) the owner also brought us special items to use while at the beach. The cottage was beautiful! Inside and out! Plenty of room and up to date kitchen, immaculately clean! Lots of room to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. The full baths with washer 7 dryer, were great because of all trips back and forth to the beach and scalloping.
We walked out the door to the bay to scallop every morning and went during the afternoon, and when we learned how, it was sooo much fun! We went to all the local favorites, the state park at the end of the Cape, fished around all the hot spots. This house is close enough for a short drive to pick up food. We also ate pounds of shrimp from The Shrimp Company in Port St Joe so YUMMY! I highly recommend this house for everyone to stay at, hopefully not the dates I want because we will be back. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay! And for allowing us to come in early at short notice, and we would've stayed if we could've!"

"This is our fourth visit to the Pineapple Plantation and every visit just gets better! Bill and Caryn, the owners, take great care of this lovely beach home and are constantly updating it, making it better and keeping it spotless. The beautiful beach is just a very short walk and the private pool is icing on the cake! Bill and Caryn have been delightful to work with and rent from. We very much appreciate that they allow us to bring our pups as well. We can’t wait to return! Thanks Bill and Caryn!!"

"The peninsula of Cape San Blas with St. Joseph's Peninsula State Park is astoundingly beautiful and untouched: it is not littered with high-rise condos, hotels, bars, restaurants, nightlife, cheesy miniature golf and the like. It's a paradise for those who truly enjoy peace and solitude. Hidden Treasure is located on the North end of the peninsula with the park's entrance 1/2 mile from the house. It's nestled between the dunes and is extremely private and extremely quiet: no road noise, no loud parties on the beach, just delicious tranquility. We are grateful to Owners who generously open their homes to dog lovers. Our little Papillion loved her beach vacation as much as we did. She sat on the screened deck with us all day watching the birds and other dogs on the beach. There are two shower heads on the boardwalk and a hose which was helpful to wash off sand from our feet and her paws; it also had a handy "dog wash" on the lower deck. The king bed and sheets in the master bedroom were hands down the best I've ever experienced at a VRBO. (We were just the two of us and didn't use the two guest beds.) There were two sad things: leaving and "red tide." One of the locals at the gas station said "red tide" is a rare occurrence and unfortunately it occurred while we were there and it prevented us from kayaking in the bay. It did not affect the gulf side (where the house is located). We will never forget our time at Hidden Treasure on Cape San Blas."
