"Me and my husband had a great time, great location, met the best neighbours. The house was clean, cozy, and the best part is it's located right on the beach with its own grilling area, and it's right by the trading post and not far from the state park. We loved it and are looking forward to be booking this place again next year"

"A group of my friends from USC and myself stayed at this house over our spring break. Some of the pictures are misleading as to how close the ocean is but that is my only complaint. The house is perfect and we had a great time on Cape San Blas. This area is very isolated so be sure to stock up on essentials and plan on eating most of your meals at the house. The water was still pretty chilly as we went in the middle of March but the weather was perfect, about 70 and sunny most days. I would definitely recommend this property to others and I hope I will get to return soon."

"Emerald Isle is a wonderful house, very spacious and clean. Lots of room and great views of the beach. The elevator is a huge plus. We really enjoyed having a private pool and the beach is just a short walk. The house was well stocked. This was our 3rd trip to the Cape and this house is our favorite of all the places we've stayed. It's just a short drive to the trading post for food/groceries, etc. or Coneheads is also very close to grab a meal. We also enjoyed a day trip to Appalachacola for shopping and dinner. Port St Joe is a short drive and we love Joe Mama's pizza- best bruchetta we've ever had. I would recommend this house and Teresa's beach homes! Only problem was 1 week was too short!"

"My family (husband, self, and 9-year-old son) just spent a wonderful week at Cape Refreshment. This is our second time renting on the Cape so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect and what's important for us.
The house is just the right size for the 3 of us. We love the outdoor space - the massive covered/screened porch and sun deck are definitely two of the best features of the house. We enjoyed many meals on the porch, away from bugs and wind. The view of sunset from the deck is just fabulous!
Another great feature of this house is the private access to St. Joe Bay. We saw sea stars, cranes, horseshoe crabs, and tons of other wildlife. We even tried the crab traps tied to the dock. We didn't catch anything, but it was a lot of fun!
The house is immaculately kept, well equipped and all the appliances/electronics/wifi are in good working condition. Beth, the owner, is very responsive to my questions. The booking process went smoothly. There was even a welcome gift when we arrived at the house.
All in all, we really enjoyed our vacation at Cape Refreshment. Thank you, Beth, for sharing your wonderful house with us!"
