"Our stay at this home was amazing. The location is great as it is just at the entrance to the cape and is approximately 1/2 way between Port St. Joe and the state park at the end of the cape. This section of beach is not as heavily populated as other parts of the cape. The house is beautiful with a great layout providing tons of living space down stairs, a great kitchen, and very nice, comfortable bedrooms upstairs. Not having to pack beach chairs was a huge plus for us as there were beach chairs provided for our use. That they allow guests to use the 2 kayaks was great as well. The house was maybe 30 steps to the beach access makign it very convenient to get down to the beach with your gear, especially given that there were carts available for our use as well. On top of that, the owners were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful above and beyond what I've ever found. I've never met either of them, but feel like they are friends. If we come back to CSB, we would certainly hope to get this unit again."Guest: James C. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 28, 2014View listing
"After several trips to the Destin/Panama City Beach area we decided to try something new and I found Aqua Blast in Cape San Blas. Not knowing anything about the area I did a little research and found a lot of descriptions that used the words "Old Florida", "uncommercial", "laid back" and "no high rises". We loved the idea of a condo on the beach and decided to go for the new experience. We had two adults and four teenagers. Two 18 year old boys and two 16 year old girls. I will say we were a little apprehensive for the kids after hearing there was spotty cell service at best and that the regular go-karts and mini-golf and Starbucks were non-existent. When we arrived we saw that the condo pics were good but that it was even better in person. The location couldn't have been better. The deck overlooking the dune and beach was ideal. A small privacy wall was installed which made the deck private from the other units in the building. It was the perfect spot for watching the waves with your morning coffee or viewing the sunset with your evening cocktail! A 30 second walk and you have sand between your toes and 30 seconds from there and you are standing in the water. The beach was gorgeous, people were very friendly. We were there over the 4th of July and the beach wasn't crowded but still felt "alive". Fireworks along the beach were fantastic ... just other families like us enjoying the holiday. Kids didn't miss a thing ... in fact they loved it too. They met other kids their age, hung out around bonfires at night. Played beach games and walked to the nearby convenience store and ice cream stand and went scalloping in the bay. The facts: Condo was great ...clean and well appointed. Anything you needed was there from kitchen items to beach chairs. Plenty of linens. Location was fantastic ... beautiful! No traffic! Milllions of stars at night. "Old Florida" is now my favorite description and where I want to spend any future Florida vacation, preferably enjoying a beverage on the porch of Aqua Blast! Thanks Edye!"Guest: The McCracken Family Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 11, 2014View listing

"We stayed for 8 wonderful nights at Beach Blast. The place is beautiful and well kept, we had a very peaceful, relaxing vacation. The owners supply more than just the basics and answered every question I had. I do have to agree, there are a lot of steps but our legs got used to them by the end of the week and the view is well worth it, the pictures of the sunsets while we sat on the deck and had dinner and cocktails were phenomenal! We walked a couple miles each way and only saw 3 other houses closer to the beach than we were. It was awesome, Thank you. (FYI - I would recommend for people over 55 if you are in good shape to handle the stairs)"Guest: Kit Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 8, 2014View listing
