"My sister and I went with our boyfriends and our dogs as a last second vacation! Jeanie worked great with us and made it happen. The house looks like the pics above. We rented kayaks (DONT USE Happy Ours instead use Scallop Cove). We saw 2 sharks in the bay on our little excursion. The beach is a short walk away and there is a lot of sand :)! The ocean water is comparable to Saint George, not clear like Destin, but not as dark as Carabelle (at least when we went). We ate at Triple Tails and loved it! Our dogs loved playing on the beach (which is very private so we didnt have to worry about the dogs running around people). Will definitely be staying again! Best value on the Cape!"Guest: CJ Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 22, 2014View listing
"Comfortable & relaxing, both bedrooms set up the same with very deluxe kingsize beds. The kitchen was as advertised, sharp knives, matching dishes & 2 blenders. We plan to stay here next year."Guest: Hank Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 21, 2014View listing
"GREAT!! The pictures did not do this place justice AT ALL! It is much more spacious, cleaner, newer and nicer in person than the pictures show. Plenty of room. All appliances and utilities worked fine, including the AC. The BEACH was just a very short walk away as was BOTH pools. I loved the family friendly atmosphere of the Dunes and the white sand and lovely aquamarine waters of the Emerald Coast. I felt very safe and secure at this place. Locked gated community but freedom to come and go anytime..we could leave our chairs and beach supplies out all week at the beach, as did many other families, and never had to worry about anyone taking them. Thank you for the wonderful vacation memories!! I do recommend if you book the place, to make sure and ask for the security code to get in the gate..it was left off my papers ..and if you are arriving late at night, there most likely will be no one at the gate and the cellphone service out there is very spotty...but it all worked out so no complaints! Very minor inconvenience for us this trip.. :) Thank you!!"Guest: Michelle C Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 30, 2014View listing
"Pineapple plantation is a great place to relax and get away and not have to worry about keeping my fur babies at the vet or with a sitter. I have been to the Cape before and loved the easy, laid back, non commercialized atmosphere but this is the first time I have stayed in a house and taken my dogs. We will definitely see about getting Pineapple Plantation again next year for Spring Break because there was plenty of room to relax, cut up and have a good time with family and friends."Guest: MissRavensmom Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 11, 2014View listing
