"We just spent a week at the Sea Shell condo in Fort Walton Beach. This was by far the nicest condo we have stayed in of all 6 trips we have made to the gulf coast. The condo has been well kept, nice furnishings, carpet, windows and doors, etc. Lisa, the owner, has done a good job making sure that it is a nice place for you to go and spend time to relax and enjoy your time while you are on vacation. We like Fort Walton Beach because it is not crowded - but it is close to everything you want or need. Great place!"

"Sunset 5c is on the 3rd (top) floor but is a 2 story unit. There were 4 adults (mother, father in law, sister, 2 nephews, and myself) and it provided a great layout for accommodations. My mother and father in law had a bedroom, sister and nephew had a bedroom, second nephew slept on one of the 2 bunks, and I the queen fold our couch (which was a good sleep provided it was a fold out). The unit was pristine when we arrived. You'll find no complaints about cleanliness and the layout was open enough so that we never felt cramped. It could have easily fit 2 more adults or kids. The nautical theme drew me to this particular unit and the family loved the designs! Color patters and lay out were a major hit. Both my sister and mother asked for the address and suggested we make this an annual retreat together at the same unit.
This was the first time in my adult life I was able to provide the vacation for my family and I picked a winner! Sunset Cottages is tucked away in Okaloosa Island so that you feel like there's a lot of privacy even though there are properties to either side of you. There's a pool in the center of the complex that gets plenty of sun during the day that's hidden from the rest of the world or a walk way right off of it that takes you over the sand dunes and drops you off at the beach.
Speaking of beach the beach is beautiful with typical emerald waters that have a ton of Dolphins (during our stay) just past the first deep sandbar. The beach has a first come first serve large blue umbrella with matching chairs complimentary with the unit that help shield you from the sun and stay cool on a hot day. We had my 6 and 12 y/o nephew wth us so I should also share the national seashore park just mile or 2 away that's on the bayside. The water is calm with great visibility, some fun sea life, and about 1-4ft deep for at least 2 football fields off the shore. The young kids had a blast exploring the area there!
Location wise as it relates to events I thought we did great. The unit was close to Fort Walton, about 10 minutes from the bridge over to Destin, and maybe 2 miles feom a large cluster of food locations on Okaloosa. Adventure Zone was minutes away with Big Kahuna and The Trak at most 25 minutes (if traffic was busy) away. There are so many great restaurants and you're on the right side of Destin Pass going back towards Destin to enjoy that beach and Crab Island (which I was able to enjoy the last day)
Perfect location for $$$"

"We had a great stay and will be back again! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The condo was clean and we had everything we needed. They also provided a booster baby seat and pack n play for a infant/toddler to sleep in and that was great."

"The condo is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The complex is smaller. Therefore, the beach isn't overcrowded. It was very peaceful to sit under the umbrella, listen to the waves, read, and watch my precious granddaughters play. Management is friendly, professional, and helpful. We hope to return to this condo in the future."
