  • Just Perfect!

"My husband and I and our two girls (ages 3 and 8) stayed in this condo for a week. The condo truly exceeded all of our expectations, and according to my husband, my standards for vacation accommodations are high. Even though we were expecting it to be nice based on the photos, the photos certainly do not do it justice. The condo is so spacious! Our kids had plenty of room to play, while my husband and I still enjoyed the privacy and serenity of the master bedroom. Additionally, the proximity to the beach can't be beat, especially when you have young children. We also really appreciated the small size of the condo building itself, which made coming in and out easy. I really cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this condo and we are certainly aiming to stay there again next summer."

  • A Home Away From Home

"This was our first time in this part of Florida and didn't know what to expect from the resort other than knowing there were white sand beaches nearby. We normally rent beach homes and this was our first time renting a condo. While there was initially some hesitancy at not staying at a beach house, it was quickly dismissed as soon as we checked in. The condo has a fantastic view of the bay from the balcony which gave us many breathtaking sunsets - the other plus of the balcony is that we were able to keep an eye on the kids from the condo while they enjoyed themselves in the lazy river. The lazy river was such an unexpected surprise - it was the perfect refresher after spending the day at the beach. We loved that the resort had BBQ grills nearby and that allowed the kids to stay in the pool while we grilled dinner. We can't say enough good things about the condo itself. It truly made us feel at home we were able to enjoy the spaciousness of it. It was fully equipped with all of the amenities and we never lacked anything whether it was for cooking, relaxing on the balcony, on the beach or just around the room. We truly enjoyed walking to the beach and spending our days there. Perhaps my favorite thing, which was completely unexpected, was the fact that we had reserved chairs and an umbrella everyday of our stay. We had our spot on the beach awaiting us every morning and afternoon. It was such a great family-friendly environment that we made friends both around the grills and the pool. Our kids felt incredibly comfortably and that the pool was open until 11pm was a huge bonus. The resort is very centrally located and we were able to buy groceries and fresh fish from nearby locations. Perhaps the best review for this condo was the fact that we hadn't finished our vacation and our kids were already begging us to come back next Summer, and the next and the next... It truly felt like home."

  • Beautiful condo

"This was a beautiful condo, spacious, well-maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with all of the amenities, and the bathrooms were clean and spacious as well. The balcony was large with an outdoor grill, and offered a spectacular view. The pool and grounds were well-maintained and secure. Although the location is convenient to shops and restaurants, the condo is in a peaceful and secluded area. I give this condo a high recommendation!"

  • Great Condo, fantastic resort property

"We stayed in this unit over Spring Break (March 2014). The weather wasn't great, but the resort definitely was fantastic! We stayed with our two daughters (ages 13 and 11) and our son (age 3). We had plenty of room. The bunk beds were such a nice addition. This unit is nicely furnished and the owner was very easy to work with, no problems. The balcony is quite large, but the view isn't good. There is construction going on and the view of the beach is very limited. Other than that, we thought the condo was amazing. As far as Waterscape itself, its wonderful. There is a heated pool (which was great for the bad weather) and the kiddie pool was SO nice for my son. The beach is beautiful and there is a restaurant on-site for snacks, drinks or lunch. We also made use of the BBQ grills on-site. Also, Waterscape is just 6 miles from Destin so if you run out of things to do and restaurants to go to, Destin is just down the road. We would definitely come back!"
