  • Paradise!

"I cannot rave enough about both the condo and Teri! My fiancee and I decided to get married on the beach and when our condo on Okaloosa Island sold faster than we thought it would, I found this one. As beautiful as the pictures are, it doesn't do it justice. The master bedroom had an amazing view of the water and it was so relaxing to lay there and just watch the waves. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bed in the master was super comfortable and the brightly painted walls gave it truly a beachy feel. Some of our family members were staying in other units in the condominium and all agreed that our unit was the best. Teri herself was amazing to work with! She was very flexible and worked with our schedules to make the most of our trip. I couldn't have asked for a better condo for my special day. Thank you Teri for being so wonderful to work with! We will definitely be renting again next year!"

  • Awesome Condo!

"The condo is exactly as advertised and Bill was awesome to work with and made sure that we had everything that we needed and that all of our questions were answered. The only thing that you need to bring is yourself and your swimsuit. Condo had plenty of beach towels and a washer and dryer. The third bedroom was large enough that we put a cot for one of the grandkids between the twin beds and still had room to move around. Access to the beach was right off of the patio via a wooden walkway over the dunes. The kids found everything that they needed to build sandcastles and to ride the waves in Bill's storage closet on the patio. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas in the closet. Don't forget to visit the Naval Air Museum while in Pensacola. The grandkids enjoyed a pirate themed dolphin cruise complete with buried treasure and they had a blast using flashlights to catch crabs on the beach after dark. We will definitely be staying here again."

  • Excellent Choice

"If you are looking for a very comfortable, very affordable, very quiet, very family friendly condo on the sugar white beaches of Florida's emerald coast, then look no further!! This condo had everything we needed and more. Very spacious unit on the 5th floor! Huge patio! Huge beachside pool! Great restaurants within a mile or 2! This was a very satisfying and relaxing stay for our family with 3 small kids. We loved it!!"

  • All it was cracked up to be (and more) for a family of 6

"We had a beautiful, first-time vacation on Saint George Island from Illinois and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations at the Paradise Bungalow. It was clean and well-maintained and best of all -- RIGHT ON THE BEACH FOR CHEAP!! There are certainly fancier places to pick from, but at this price, we were thrilled with how nice it was and with its location. It is a stone's throw from the Gulf and right in the center of the Island and for us, we were glad we picked the Gulf side rather than the Bay side. It was great to be able to just dip in and out of the Gulf throughout the day and send the kids down to the beach where we could still see them (JR High and HS aged). My ONLY negative for the Bungalow was that we could smell a pet odor when we first came in since it was all closed up and the air was off. After the A/C was running for a few hours though we could no longer smell it at all. All 6 of us fit just fine (manageable with one bathroom for a week). The kids said their beds were all comfortable, as was the master bed. The Wi-Fi was fast and dependable. We saw lots of dolphin, all kinds of crabs, star fish, and sea snails. We were also lucky enough to be there when the conservation folks checked a hatched sea turtle nest and got to see them rescue two little survivors! We snorkeled and kayaked over in Port St. Joe and looked all around Apalachicola which are both nearby. FYI, there is a Dollar General nearby for anything you might forget. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves for the most part. To say it was not crowded would be a huge understatement. It was too hot the week we were there to rent bikes to go the four miles to the State Park, but we drove over there and swam and it is pristine. We actually preferred the beach right in front of our own place though! The water was warm, but refreshing and the food on the Island was very good. We ate at BJ's Pizza and the Beach Pit. We had a really great time, and would pick the exact same place again now that we have seen everything first hand."

Freeport Travel Tips

Experience Life Close to the Water at Freeport Vacation Homes

Being close to the water affords many advantages, and at Freeport vacation homes, you can enjoy all of them. The pleasant sound of seagulls, refreshing breezes off the water, and serene views of the coastal landscape surround you. Nearby Choctawatchee Bay features a variety of coastal ecology and is mostly separated from the Gulf of Mexico. Cross the Mid-Bay Bridge to get to the Gulf beaches and state parks such as Grayton Beach State Park and Port Washington State Forest.

Enjoy the Benefits of Freeport Lodging

While you can do much exploring of the area's natural settings, Freeport lodging provides the benefits of an affordable place to stay while you decompress from the hectic routines at home. The extra space, certainly in comparison to a small hotel room, will make you feel more relaxed as well. Everyone in the family, including the kids will be able to enjoy having room to breathe. All of these perks come at a better price than if you stay at a hotel or resort, and better yet, you can save more if you pass on eating out and make meals at home when you stay at any Florida Panhandle vacation rentals.

Other Activities around Freeport

The homely atmosphere of Freeport vacation homes allows everyone in the family to enjoy their vacation. All can have a leisurely breakfast before deciding what to do for the day. A variety of activities are available at the Freeport Sports Complex, which offers soccer and football fields, basketball courts, shuffle board, as well as beach volleyball and trails for walking and jogging. There is also a playground that provides many activities for children to keep themselves busy. The Freeport Municipal Pool, Casey Kids Park and H.A. Laird Park with a playground and trail are other destinations nearby Freeport lodging.
