"Great place had everything we needed, plenty of room and boardwalk to the beach. Loved it!"

"After 9 years of not taking a vacation this was the perfect place to be! The place is perfectly located from being literally right on the beach to being away from the downtown Port St. Joe traffic! The views from the balconies were breathtaking - you had the bay from one bedroom and the gulf from the masterbedroom. The condo was set up perfectly from the layout, the furniture and the little ammenities provided! Going to sleep and waking up the sounds of the ocean was incredible and the night sky is breath taking! You are in the middle of the galaxy! Though it may be a tiny thing I also liked the fact of having a key lock box! I could grab my beach stuff, lock the door, and put the key in a safe place! No worries about lock outs! This place was paradise for me! I actually saw the stress leave my face as each wonderful day went by! Another small, probably overlooked thing is the outdoor shower! So nice to rinse off the salt and sand before going water and all! I like what another condo has... privacy walls around the shower! HINT HINT :) Ok now to be completely honest there was a couple downsides. When I arrived the condo had the musty smell of dog. Now I am a dog owner (my babies hate the waves crashing on the shore so they stayed at their own resort) and I love dogs so to have that oder be so strong was not fun... plus finding peepee stains on the carpet and dog fur all over the masterbedroom balconey was not pleasing. However, I called the office and they wanted me to enjoy my stay so they offered to have the condo cleaned! I did decline their offer and just got some scented candles to use while I was there so it all worked out just fine. Plus the office followed up with me and said the owner was notified, she was sorry for the oder and would be there after I left to take care of the matter! WOW you don't find that at your typical hotel but then again this was more than typical. Oh and I don't know about the other beds but the master bedroom has like a sponge makes alot of noise when there is any will wake you up! Good thing for no alarm clocks while on vacation! :) ALL IN ALL THIS IS PARADISE!!!! I am already planning on coming to this condo again! Maybe as soon as October - YES next month! but definitely next Spetember as long as I am in the "area". THANK YOU!!!!"

  • “Beautiful home, great outdoor amenities, convenient to the beach!”

"This home was great for our family beach vacation! I frequent St George Island and this was my first experience with the Coppertone House and Resort Vacation Properties. The 3 master suites suited our needs perfectly. When not at the beach, the pool / spa, grill, outdoor shower and fish cleaning station kept our outdoor fun going even when we were back at the rental. The elevator is a must have for a rental of this size. It made taking groceries and luggage up to the appropriate floors a breeze! The walk to the beach is quick and easy. The view from the balconies is almost as good as being right on the beach. The balconies are accessible by French doors from each of the master suites as well as the living area. There is also a great sound system that runs out onto the balconies so you can listen to music while at the pool/spa. The few issues that we had with the rental were quickly taken care of with one call to the property management office. Some items you may want to bring as they are limited in the rental are: chefs knives, measuring cups and spoons, and grill utensils (they had plastic but few metal utensils)."

  • great vacation but there were partial negatives

"Great location all around. The view is half of what it was as there are 3 new constructions up on the beach side. What we did have was beautiful. Yes, you can see dolphins as dark spots out on the ocean. You will need binoculars to see them from the house. Views are way better on the beach. The beach was as perfect as it could be. The negatives for us... Kids bedroom is not 4 beds; it's a trundle bunk that means 3 beds. If you pull out trundle, you can't use the ladder to get up top. The room is small and bunk fits wall to wall and you have to watch out for ceiling fan if it's running or you can bonk your head climbing up. We had 4 teens and 2 volunteered to sleep in living room. Yes, each master has it's own bathroom, but their is an issue. One master downstairs with the hall bath (no shower). Two masters upstairs with the kids room. I gave up my master bath to the kids because they weren't going to run up and down stairs (especially at night) and needed the shower and since we had 2 kids in the living room, the hall bath was busy. I showered outside the whole time which was great in it's own way. Perfect weather made the use of the outdoor shower great. Pots and pans are very worn so spray pam and aluminum foil are a must when cooking. No sharp knives at all so bring your own if you cook. 2 blenders are also in need of replacement as blades are shot and one leaked. Tiki bar is very cool and we enjoyed it. At night you must use back door with light. The front lights are out for the turtles, it's very dark and you will trip on the stairs. I hope they may use glow tape or stair lights in the future. I do recommend checking out kitchen before going to town for groceries as some staples were left by previous guests. The two local convenience stores are well stocked for your needs. The kids will find all the soda, candy and foods that they will want. The Indian Pass (trading co) Raw Bar is a must stop! Very casual and friendly. Grab a drink and a table, then fill out your food form & drink form with your table number (the table number is actually written on table). Let them know this is your first time there. Go to counter to get forms if none at table or ask waitress. If they are very crowded or busy, you may have to take your food order to waitress at register. Do not expect them to hover over you. Give them a moment and if they didn't see you come in, you just have to ask for assistance. This was a 4 star vacation."
