  • Awesome View, Very Comfortable House

"Really awesome view, especially from the top deck - and you should see the stars at night from up there! There is virtually no light pollution, so the view was wonderful! Spectacular sunset photos may be taken off the screen porch by opening the door and doing a "point-and-shoot." The kitchen has everything you need if you're going to cook and the house is very well equipped overall with many special touches. The kitchen is colorful, bright, airy, and spacious and the beds are comfortable."

  • Awesome response

"We arrived on Saturday after a LONG trip to find this unspoiled and undeveloped area. It is exactly what I needed to accommodate my children and grandchildren on our extended family vacation. We had terrible trouble with the AC and were HOT! A repairman arrived at 10:00 PM on Sunday night! He tried to fix the unit without success. He returned Monday morning and tried again---without success. We were HOT! The owner and the manager allowed us to have access to the adjoining unit! We were able to sleep comfortably without moving all of our stuff! We shifted and took advantage of the new COOL space. Then---the decision was made to replace the entire AC unit. The crew came on Tuesday and installed a completely new unit! Ahh! This prompt response and the next-door access impressed all of us. Accidents happen and appliances break; there is no way to control that. However, excellent customer service and attention to the needs of the family are choices. The owner and the property manager made decisions quickly to resolve the problems and to make us comfortable. It is exactly the kind of service that warrants positive reviews and excellent 'word-of-mouth' sharing of information. I hope that we can return to this beautiful spot regularly. Thank you."

  • Absolutely Wonderful

"We rented this place for a week. It was all we hoped for and more. The house was spacious and well laid-out. THe screened-in porch was perfect for rainy days, and the rest of the porch wonderful to gaze at the beautiful night sky with all its stars. The boardwalk made it easy to traverse the vegetation and still be able to admire the flowers and butterflies as we headed to the beach. The sand there was so soft and never too hot -- perfect for buildling sandcastles, just relaxing or strolling along the water's edge looking for sanddollars and shells. We loved the waves on windy days and found that the shore on the spit dropped off very gradually so that we could venture out quite a distance with our grandchildren on calmer days. We saw people fishing right from the shore, although the beach in front of our rental place was mostly deserted except for us. In spite of some rainy days, we had some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Lots of shore birds; I especially liked the brown pelicans. The rolling canonball jellyfish were interesting to watch when we found out they posed absolutely no danger. We even spotted dolphins and rays! A most wonderful spot. I hope the area does not get more developed. This is what I always dreamed the REAL Florida was like."

  • Had a great week! :)

"We had a great week at Indian Pass in Seaside Shelter. The house is much roomier in person than the images show and the location is absolutely fabulous if you want a quiet, nature filled beach week. We especially loved the screened porch with many new chairs available. It is very close to the Indian Pass Raw Bar & the shuttle to St Vincents Island. We saw dolphins playing several days & saw rays up near the point just west of the beach at the house. We found many seashells and sand dollars & just really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Managment: The water went out on Sunday and the management company responded very quickly to get it repaired. The elevator was out of order while we were there, but we didn't really need it anyway, so we didn't press the management company to correct that - I feel sure they would have handled the problem if we had a handicapped person who required it - they were very responsive and easy to deal with. Overall, a great vacation in a great place - we would return in a heartbeat! :) Thanks for sharing your wonderful beach house with us!"
