"The property was very clean and well maintained. I was very impressed with the kitchen supplies and utensils. The extra blankets and sheets were a plus. We loved the views of the beach and island. The dogs loved their long beach walks and daily swim time. It was a perfect fit for us. We wanted seclusion yet close enough to town, state parks, kayaking. I would highly recommend and look forward to future stays"Guest: charles w. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 22, 2014View listing
"We arrived on Saturday after a LONG trip to find this unspoiled and undeveloped area. It is exactly what I needed to accommodate my children and grandchildren on our extended family vacation. We had terrible trouble with the AC and were HOT! A repairman arrived at 10:00 PM on Sunday night! He tried to fix the unit without success. He returned Monday morning and tried again---without success. We were HOT! The owner and the manager allowed us to have access to the adjoining unit! We were able to sleep comfortably without moving all of our stuff! We shifted and took advantage of the new COOL space. Then---the decision was made to replace the entire AC unit. The crew came on Tuesday and installed a completely new unit! Ahh! This prompt response and the next-door access impressed all of us. Accidents happen and appliances break; there is no way to control that. However, excellent customer service and attention to the needs of the family are choices. The owner and the property manager made decisions quickly to resolve the problems and to make us comfortable. It is exactly the kind of service that warrants positive reviews and excellent 'word-of-mouth' sharing of information. I hope that we can return to this beautiful spot regularly. Thank you."Guest: SHUG Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 12, 2014View listing
"We rented Lagoon To Sea for a family vacation for our family of 6 (plus our dog). The house is located on a quiet street and a short walk to a private beach. We could hear the ocean from the wrap around screened porch(which was great because the black flies BITE!! bring your insect repellant!) We had many nights on the beach watching the sunset all by ourselves. We fished, made bonfires, grilled out, went exploring, read, talked, and laughed... We were a little disappointed at first that there is no access to the lagoon from the back yard, but the view is pretty and we just spent our time on the beach. We brought two kayaks and we paddled in the ocean and to the nearby St. Vincent Wildlife Refuge. Very easy to get to and worth the trip. Leslie was great to work with and came right over when we had a small problem with a smoke detector. She was very helpful and always answered our questions in a timely manner. The house is extremely comfortable and we did not feel crowded. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked in most of the time. I recommend a trip to Indian Pass Oyster Bar, though. It was our only "night out" and we had a ball. We will DEFINITELY return to this slice of heaven. Thank you, Leslie, for a vacation that we will always remember. We hope to visit again soon!!"Guest: Beth Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 24, 2014View listing

I feel like we found a treasure among all treasures to find an affordable, clean, and wonderful destination.
