"Awesome place to stay! Condo was fully equipped with everything we needed for the week. Just steps to the beach and really convenient to shopping. Highly recommend staying in this unit. We will be back for sure! Jody from RealJoy Vacations was a pleasure to work with."

  • How Do I Love Thee? "Have your cake and eat it too!"

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. First of all, Perdido IS like Destin 25 years ago! Perdido is quaint and wonderful. It has everything "beach folks" desire without the muss & fuss, plus, it's so close to popular attractions without the popular rates and traffic. Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too! #2, this condo was GREAT! I was worried bc we'd always stayed gulf-front in the past but this condo is fabulous and such a bargain. Proximity to the beach is minimal. In fact, it's actually closer to the beach than some beach-fronts bc Johnson beach @ Perdido is not that wide. It was great for myself, husband, and our 3 kiddos loved the proximity to the pool. The condo was decorated in a relaxed beach style with luxurious linens & beddings. It had everything from beach gear, koozies, and a hair dryer! If you are having doubts, DON'T! This place is GREAT & the owner, Michele was so pleasant and accommodating & only a text, call, or email away. However, we didn't need to do that bc her place is so awesome! 5 STARS! We can't wait to go back."

"What an enjoyable stay. Location of the condo was perfect, close to Pensacola and Alabama. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, great places to eat close by, we ate at the Crab Basket almost every day and for some local fine dinning one evening went to the Sportsman Marina/Harbor Inn. The food and view will certainly bring us back there again. No negatives here, just a great time and will certainly be back!"

  • Four de Leigh--Wonderful house in a beautiful location!

"I can't recommend this rental home highly enough! The pictures don't really do it justice--the rooms are bigger, brighter, and more comfortable than the photos show, and the seaside decks are huge, shady, and breezy. As so many others have commented, this house is extremely well equipped with tableware and glassware, more pots and pans than you can imagine, loads of extra towels and beach towels, and every kind of beach stuff you could possibly want--folding chairs, umbrellas, floats, sand buckets, and endless beach toys. Plus a charcoal Weber grill, and an open shower under the house for washing off sand and salt water. The air conditioning and ice maker are in top form, and all bedrooms (plus the main living room) have TVs. Wifi connection was flawless. The best part, to my mind, is the location. The house sits on a very quiet street that runs parallel to the Gulf. All the other houses for blocks around are single family, one- or two-story; every house is different--this is not a builder's development. High rise hotels and condos are located far away. This means that the beach feels like a private beach, with very few other people. The sand is just as everyone describes--pure white, soft, powdery. The Gulf water is usually crystal clear, and about waist deep for a long way out. Waves are gentle. This makes the beach and water very child-friendly. The shops, restaurants, fishing pier, etc are about a mile away. A few minutes east is a national park (Gulf Islands National Park, I think) with miles and miles of beach and sand dunes, totally undeveloped. Pensacola (the city) is maybe 15 minutes away, with an amazing and huge fish market (Joe Patti's Seafood Market), lots of restaurants, and the excellent military air museum at the Naval Air Station. All in all, Four de Leigh is a gem!"
