  • Navarre Beach is perfect.

"Please don't post this review as I don't want people to discover Florida's Best Kept Secret. They might ruin it for others who are seeking serenity."

  • Perfect get away!

"Absolutely loved our little vacation away from the cold temperatures of Wisconsin. That being said however, as often as we travel south, we have noticed a trend. Every time we come south, you southerners get a blizzard, an ice storm...or something along those lines. This was no different. We were in Florida during record breaking cold temps. It was far warmer than home, so we didn't complain. I can't think of any thing that could make this beautiful condo more welcoming. Carie was amazing, we enjoyed talking with her via email and over the phone. We had no problems with 'checking in'. Had all the information we needed to walk right into our new home for the week. Property is well maintained, perhaps a little on the 'used' side in a few places, but nothing that is glaring. It is a beautiful and well kept place. Owner is personable, and very helpful. Condo is situated on a beautiful island. The people are great, neighbors were helpful and kind. It was gorgeous! Thank you for a perfect stay. The only thing I could even find to complain about was I don't like soft mattresses and the master bedroom mattress was softer than I care for...but beautiful. Other than that...(and that's just me being picky)... absolutely perfect stay. Recommend to anyone! Nice price, great neighborhood, excellent host, beautiful scenery, well kept pool, fun tennis courts...can't go wrong with this gem!"

  • Great Weekend trip

"We loved this condo! The decor and personal touches made it so special! The condo and property were immaculate! The condo was well stocked and felt like home. Balcony views are fabulous! The water was so clear and we could see the bottom out to the sandbars. We have visited Navarre several times over the past 23 years. This was by far the best time that we have ever had! We hope to visit again!"

  • 35th wedding anniversary

"Wonderful complex and condo. As pictured. Spoke directly to owner at time of booking, very pleasant to talk to. Emailed recommendations for local restaurants and grocery shopping (was definitely right...Publix much better than Winn Dixie. Publix deli was awesome!). Condo easy to get to, not "touristy". Most relaxing vacation my husband and I have had in a while! If you want relaxed this is the place. Navarre fishing pier was a gem, especially to the sunset and full moon we had while there. On site management was great, informed us one of the toilets was out of commission for repairs but seeing it was only two of us not an issue. The sliding screen door was not opening properly, mentioned to staff and was fixed when we returned from an afternoon away. Will definitely recommend condo and complex to others and will stay again!"

Navarre Beach Travel Tips

The unincorporated community of Navarre Beach is located on the barrier island of Santa Rosa Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola Beach is nearby, as is the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a spot that offers recreation for visitors and preserves the historic resources along the Gulf.

Navarre Beach Attractions

The beach is of course the top attraction in Navarre Beach. There are pristine white sand beaches considered some of the best in the country. As you arrive in Navarre Beach and cross the Navarre Bridge, you'll see the crystal, glistening waters and sand that will have you wanting to jump out of the car and run toward the beach. The Gulf Islands National Seashore will leave you gazing in awe as you explore the undeveloped shoreline that is the longest continuous stretch of protected coastline in Northwest Florida.

Head 27 miles north up State Route 87 to Milton where you'll find the Blackwater Heritage State Trail and Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center. The Blackwater Heritage State Trail extends for more than 9 miles and sends visitors through a small town and into the Florida countryside. The entire family will enjoy river and zip adventures as well as kayaking, canoeing and tubing at Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center.

Things to Do in Navarre Beach

- Water Sports: Fishing is popular in Navarre Beach as the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico attract plenty of fish. Opt for a ride on Lucky Chuck Charters for some deep water fishing anywhere in the surrounding area such as Destin, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola.

- Gulf Breeze Zoo: Venture over to Gulf Breeze and visit the zoo with the family. Kids will love the farm where they'll get to feed treats and play with baby goats, kunekune pigs and guinea pigs. The highlight of the trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo will certainly be feeding giraffes Gabby, Geronimo and Kenya. Everyone will love the Safari Line Limited Train Ride that travels through a 30 acres of free range preservation featuring gorillas, chimpanzees and hippos. If you opt to view the wildlife preserve via the boardwalk, you'll get to see other animals including the zebra, deer, antelope and rhino.
