  • Place of relaxation

"My wife and I stayed here mid May. It was easy to get to and checking in with Thane and his staff was easy as well as they were very helpful and accommodating. If there was anything I needed they were there to help. As far as the place itself, it was everything and more that we hoped for. The music playing once you first enter is a nice touch. Everything was very clean and updated. The amenities and appliances were top notch. I especially enjoyed the large flat screen that hangs on the wall in the living room that comes with a blu ray. The best part is the patio. You know you're in the right place when you can sit outside and hear nothing at all other than the sound of the water. There's no better view of the sunsets anywhere I've ever been. I made it a point to be on the patio by 7:30 each evening to watch it. The pier that's only for Sunset Harbor visitors is also a pretty cool idea and really nice in the evening/night. The beach is only a short 5 or so minute walk. If you have a lot of stuff like a big cooler or multiple chairs I'd probably take a car and you're there in less than 60 seconds. We drove a little and also walked. I never swim in the ocean anymore and I did here everyday because you can see to the bottom. There never were many people on the beach like a lot of overcrowded touristy beaches. If you want to dine out at restaurants you'll probably want to go to Pensacola or Pensacola Beach. Both are a short 20-35 minute drive away. Grand Marlin in Pensacola Beach is probably the best restaurant I've ever been to. There's a ton of great dining options around the area. Bottom line, if you want an incredibly nice condo and an area that's more of a secluded spot along the ocean, go to this condo in Navarre. I don't have one single complaint. We'll be back next year."

  • Great Weekend trip

"We loved this condo! The decor and personal touches made it so special! The condo and property were immaculate! The condo was well stocked and felt like home. Balcony views are fabulous! The water was so clear and we could see the bottom out to the sandbars. We have visited Navarre several times over the past 23 years. This was by far the best time that we have ever had! We hope to visit again!"

  • Perfect beach house for a family wanting to get away and relax!

"Our family would highly recommend this townhouse! The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and updated. There were six of us in my family that vacationed here, including my small infant. The place is big enough that everyone felt as though they had privacy. The close proximity to the water was ideal, because we had to go back and fourth from the house to the beach because of the small baby. Everything was maintained and in excellent condition. The neighbors in the connecting homes were very friendly. The water and beach made the vacation absolutely perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything a cook would need. The garage had an abundant of beach toys and chairs. The location was exactly what our family was looking for. The island is not commercialized. This made us feel like we were really getting a break from the day-to-day world. However, Destin was just a quick drive away. We went into town several nights for dinner. Overall, we plan on returning to this townhouse and would recommend it to friends and family looking for a wonderful vacation."

  • Spring break 2015

"Well the condo was just as advertised!!! Love the location. Love the gulf view. Accommodations were perfect for me, my wife, daughter and her friend. The sand was clean and white the water was amazing. Pool and the help for the building was awesome. Easy to find everything we needed. Recommend Stubys seafood in Ft Walton beach about 25 min. away worth the trip. Thanks so much Robert for sharing your property with me and my family. Will be back soon for another restful vacation 😎"

Navarre Beach Travel Tips

The unincorporated community of Navarre Beach is located on the barrier island of Santa Rosa Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola Beach is nearby, as is the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a spot that offers recreation for visitors and preserves the historic resources along the Gulf.

Navarre Beach Attractions

The beach is of course the top attraction in Navarre Beach. There are pristine white sand beaches considered some of the best in the country. As you arrive in Navarre Beach and cross the Navarre Bridge, you'll see the crystal, glistening waters and sand that will have you wanting to jump out of the car and run toward the beach. The Gulf Islands National Seashore will leave you gazing in awe as you explore the undeveloped shoreline that is the longest continuous stretch of protected coastline in Northwest Florida.

Head 27 miles north up State Route 87 to Milton where you'll find the Blackwater Heritage State Trail and Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center. The Blackwater Heritage State Trail extends for more than 9 miles and sends visitors through a small town and into the Florida countryside. The entire family will enjoy river and zip adventures as well as kayaking, canoeing and tubing at Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center.

Things to Do in Navarre Beach

- Water Sports: Fishing is popular in Navarre Beach as the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico attract plenty of fish. Opt for a ride on Lucky Chuck Charters for some deep water fishing anywhere in the surrounding area such as Destin, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola.

- Gulf Breeze Zoo: Venture over to Gulf Breeze and visit the zoo with the family. Kids will love the farm where they'll get to feed treats and play with baby goats, kunekune pigs and guinea pigs. The highlight of the trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo will certainly be feeding giraffes Gabby, Geronimo and Kenya. Everyone will love the Safari Line Limited Train Ride that travels through a 30 acres of free range preservation featuring gorillas, chimpanzees and hippos. If you opt to view the wildlife preserve via the boardwalk, you'll get to see other animals including the zebra, deer, antelope and rhino.
