"My husband and I travel to the beach several times per yr. We are a big family with children ranging from 15 to 4. This was the most amazing condo we have been in. It is so spacious in all areas. It is equipped with every single thing you can imagine down to a fan. We experienced a power outage while on vacation and the owner acted immediately and got it taken care of. The security at the property was amazing, we let our kids go to the pool without us for the first time ever. The beach is not crowded at all and the beach chair set up that was included made life so convenient. We watched dolphins from the balcony almost every morning. The patio furniture was nice and a bin was stocked with everything my kids needed to play at the beach. The owners did not short cut on anything in this condo, it was fabulous. The patio gave us so much free space when we just wanted to go out for a bit but didn't want to go to the beach. The pictures just don't do this place justice. The owners have got to be the kindest people we ever met. Even though the power outage was the facilitys issue the owner offered to pay for my family to stay in a hotel until restored. I mean who does that? AMAZING is an understatement. We will definitely be staying again."Guest: Jason & Angie Williams Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 27, 2014View listing

"My wife and I and our 2 young kids echo all the other reviews for this home. Great decks and views all so close to the beach or stroll down to the sound. Great to have lots of kiddy toys provided for the beach. Navarre beach is quiet and we had the entire beach to ourselves in beautiful weather w no jellies! Beautiful drives to Pensacola beach cannot be missed...lots of places to eat nearby and shops in Navarre. We hope to return - this is a great home for a smaller family."Guest: mw Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 18, 2014View listing
"We had a fantastic time in Navarre. The area is very laid back and relaxed. The beaches aren't overcrowded. This condo was very nice. Decorated very well. The view from the very large balcony is amazing. We saw dolphins daily! It was a great vacation and we look forward to staying again!!!"Guest: Jennifer I. Navarre Beach Travel Tips
The unincorporated community of Navarre Beach is located on the barrier island of Santa Rosa Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola Beach is nearby, as is the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a spot that offers recreation for visitors and preserves the historic resources along the Gulf.
Navarre Beach Attractions
The beach is of course the top attraction in Navarre Beach. There are pristine white sand beaches considered some of the best in the country. As you arrive in Navarre Beach and cross the Navarre Bridge, you'll see the crystal, glistening waters and sand that will have you wanting to jump out of the car and run toward the beach. The Gulf Islands National Seashore will leave you gazing in awe as you explore the undeveloped shoreline that is the longest continuous stretch of protected coastline in Northwest Florida.
Head 27 miles north up State Route 87 to Milton where you'll find the Blackwater Heritage State Trail and Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center. The Blackwater Heritage State Trail extends for more than 9 miles and sends visitors through a small town and into the Florida countryside. The entire family will enjoy river and zip adventures as well as kayaking, canoeing and tubing at Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center.
Things to Do in Navarre Beach
- Water Sports: Fishing is popular in Navarre Beach as the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico attract plenty of fish. Opt for a ride on Lucky Chuck Charters for some deep water fishing anywhere in the surrounding area such as Destin, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola.
- Gulf Breeze Zoo: Venture over to Gulf Breeze and visit the zoo with the family. Kids will love the farm where they'll get to feed treats and play with baby goats, kunekune pigs and guinea pigs. The highlight of the trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo will certainly be feeding giraffes Gabby, Geronimo and Kenya. Everyone will love the Safari Line Limited Train Ride that travels through a 30 acres of free range preservation featuring gorillas, chimpanzees and hippos. If you opt to view the wildlife preserve via the boardwalk, you'll get to see other animals including the zebra, deer, antelope and rhino.
