We love Isle of Palms and Hilton Head Island ... and this ranks right up there with those ... plus you get white sand and clear water here ! • Perfect property/perfect location

"This was the perfect condo for our family vacation with two sons, their wives and a couple of grandsons (ages 1 and 3). The condo is beautiful and new with lots of room. One thing that appealed to us was having queen size beds in bedrooms 2 and 3, in addition to the king in the main bedroom. It is nicely furnished. It was especially helpful that the kitchen had so much room. The TV works with lots of channels to choose from, although we seldom watched TV. The cable WiFi was often used as we shared pictures with friends and family on Facebook. If you are interested in such things, returned and download speeds from 18 - 30 mbps, depending on how many of us were online. The balcony was a hit. It was nice to have a table and five chairs to enjoy breakfast or just watching dolphins. It was even nicer to have enough room for the 8 of us to be out together and NOT be crowded. The little ones enjoyed being outside and we enjoyed them having a safe place to play (of course we were always outside with them). Of course a jacuzi tub with a window looking out over the gulf, and walk-in showers in the master and second bathroom were nice. The big pool is quite popular, especially when you are hot on the beach and the shadow of a neighboring condo is over the east end of the pool. In just a few minutes you may be looking for a warmer spot when the breeze starts blowing through. Our only problem was a cracked shower head evidently not previously reported. I volunteered to pick one up at the nearby Walmart but an email to the owner resulted in maintenance coming out quickly to repair. A word about Navarre Beach. There is not a lot of traffic. This is a great place for families or couples who are not interested in the craziness found in some other locations. Besides the resort's beach space there are other quiet beaches nearby with lots of solitude. We rented and umbrella and two chairs ($28 a day but get multi-day discounts, 5 days cost us $120). The beach is narrow compared to some other beaches. We saw this as a positive because you did not have to walk across so much sand to get to the water. There was plenty of room for our little ones to enjoy playing in the sand and the surf. It's Thursday morning, we have been here since Saturday. As nice as the gulf looks today (it's one of those calm days), it's hard to pull myself out of my relaxing position on the sofa to go down to the beach. It's been a great vacation."

  • Great Place!

"Thank you for sharing this beautiful place. It had everything we needed and more. We have 5 kids so it is hard to find a place with enough room with reasonable rates. This condo has it all and a beautiful view. The owner is very nice to work with! We will definitely be back!"

Navarre Beach Travel Tips

The unincorporated community of Navarre Beach is located on the barrier island of Santa Rosa Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola Beach is nearby, as is the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a spot that offers recreation for visitors and preserves the historic resources along the Gulf.

Navarre Beach Attractions

The beach is of course the top attraction in Navarre Beach. There are pristine white sand beaches considered some of the best in the country. As you arrive in Navarre Beach and cross the Navarre Bridge, you'll see the crystal, glistening waters and sand that will have you wanting to jump out of the car and run toward the beach. The Gulf Islands National Seashore will leave you gazing in awe as you explore the undeveloped shoreline that is the longest continuous stretch of protected coastline in Northwest Florida.

Head 27 miles north up State Route 87 to Milton where you'll find the Blackwater Heritage State Trail and Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center. The Blackwater Heritage State Trail extends for more than 9 miles and sends visitors through a small town and into the Florida countryside. The entire family will enjoy river and zip adventures as well as kayaking, canoeing and tubing at Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center.

Things to Do in Navarre Beach

- Water Sports: Fishing is popular in Navarre Beach as the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico attract plenty of fish. Opt for a ride on Lucky Chuck Charters for some deep water fishing anywhere in the surrounding area such as Destin, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola.

- Gulf Breeze Zoo: Venture over to Gulf Breeze and visit the zoo with the family. Kids will love the farm where they'll get to feed treats and play with baby goats, kunekune pigs and guinea pigs. The highlight of the trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo will certainly be feeding giraffes Gabby, Geronimo and Kenya. Everyone will love the Safari Line Limited Train Ride that travels through a 30 acres of free range preservation featuring gorillas, chimpanzees and hippos. If you opt to view the wildlife preserve via the boardwalk, you'll get to see other animals including the zebra, deer, antelope and rhino.
