  • fabulous view!

"What a VIEW! I would have loved to stay on the balcony 24 hrs.! Hopefully we'll get to rent again someday, it is a very well appointed condo in a perfect location. The owners are as nice as can be, and it's great that they rent out this condo so other people can enjoy it. Truly, every review before this one says it all, and all of it is true. You would be lucky to be able to stay here. The beach? Well, I don't know if I've been to a more beautiful one in this country. and not many people, either, not crowded at all. Loved going to see the Blue Angels practice in Pensacola. If you stay here, it is well worth your time."

  • A Piece of Heaven

"It's hard to add to the previous wonderful reviews but please know each and every review is entirely honest and accurate. Peggy, the owner, is a warm and gracious hostess who has thought of even the littlest of details to make your Navarre vacation your best ever! Walking into the condo feels like you are walking into her lovingly tended home--you will immediately notice just how spacious the condo itself is along with a breathtaking gulf front view of the most beautiful turquoise emerald clear water. The tiled balcony--30 feet long-- contains 2 lounges and 2 separate tables with seating for four. As a nice touch--there's also small child sized chairs. The gulf front living room--with it's very comfortable couch, recliner and ottoman has a large flat screen tv. The kitchen, newly remodeled with apron front sink and granite counter tops, contains every appliance and utensil you could possibly use if you care to cook. The utility room contains full sized washer and dryer--very handy! The master bedroom with another flat screen tv is airy and the mattress is so comfortable--also supplied are ample extra blankets, pillows--anything you may need--but don't forget that spectacular gulf front view which can be accessed directly from this bedroom to the balcony. The second bedroom is designed as peaceful retreat--very soothing...and has direct access to the second bathroom which is also newly remodeled with granite, beautiful glass bowl double sinks, and the ultimate walk in shower. This bedroom also has another flat screen tv. As others mentioned--having the beach towels provided and the beach lounge chair service provided is something not always found in other rentals. As first time visitors to Navarre--we fell in love with the family/senior-friendly laid back atmosphere. The Regency, being long and low, has a vast expanse of beachfront compared to some high rise complexes. The paved bike path is right across the street and used by walkers, joggers and bikers of all ages. You can walk for miles and look at all the pretty beach houses and condos...no crazy traffic...just friendly people enjoying the exercise in a perfect locale. Cut down a local street and walk bayside for another peaceful experience. This area is a walkers/bikers paradise. There is a Tom Thumb gas station/small grocery item store a very short walk from this condo as are 3 restaurants--Rocco's, Loggerheads and Sailor's Grill. Truly, Navarre is a piece of Heaven."

Navarre Beach Travel Tips

The unincorporated community of Navarre Beach is located on the barrier island of Santa Rosa Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola Beach is nearby, as is the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a spot that offers recreation for visitors and preserves the historic resources along the Gulf.

Navarre Beach Attractions

The beach is of course the top attraction in Navarre Beach. There are pristine white sand beaches considered some of the best in the country. As you arrive in Navarre Beach and cross the Navarre Bridge, you'll see the crystal, glistening waters and sand that will have you wanting to jump out of the car and run toward the beach. The Gulf Islands National Seashore will leave you gazing in awe as you explore the undeveloped shoreline that is the longest continuous stretch of protected coastline in Northwest Florida.

Head 27 miles north up State Route 87 to Milton where you'll find the Blackwater Heritage State Trail and Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center. The Blackwater Heritage State Trail extends for more than 9 miles and sends visitors through a small town and into the Florida countryside. The entire family will enjoy river and zip adventures as well as kayaking, canoeing and tubing at Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center.

Things to Do in Navarre Beach

- Water Sports: Fishing is popular in Navarre Beach as the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico attract plenty of fish. Opt for a ride on Lucky Chuck Charters for some deep water fishing anywhere in the surrounding area such as Destin, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola.

- Gulf Breeze Zoo: Venture over to Gulf Breeze and visit the zoo with the family. Kids will love the farm where they'll get to feed treats and play with baby goats, kunekune pigs and guinea pigs. The highlight of the trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo will certainly be feeding giraffes Gabby, Geronimo and Kenya. Everyone will love the Safari Line Limited Train Ride that travels through a 30 acres of free range preservation featuring gorillas, chimpanzees and hippos. If you opt to view the wildlife preserve via the boardwalk, you'll get to see other animals including the zebra, deer, antelope and rhino.
