  • Loved the house, loved the beach

"My husband and I stayed here for almost three months with our pets. We loved every aspect of the house and the area. I wish I could go every year. The house is beautiful, easy to keep, kitchen is super for cooking, and the neighbors were quiet and friendly. From the living room, it seems as though you are on a cruise ship looking over the water. The owners and management company respond instantly to any requests. Wifi worked fine for us, as did the TVs and all else. I am fussy about accommodations, yet this house exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommend!"

  • Four de Leigh--Wonderful house in a beautiful location!

"I can't recommend this rental home highly enough! The pictures don't really do it justice--the rooms are bigger, brighter, and more comfortable than the photos show, and the seaside decks are huge, shady, and breezy. As so many others have commented, this house is extremely well equipped with tableware and glassware, more pots and pans than you can imagine, loads of extra towels and beach towels, and every kind of beach stuff you could possibly want--folding chairs, umbrellas, floats, sand buckets, and endless beach toys. Plus a charcoal Weber grill, and an open shower under the house for washing off sand and salt water. The air conditioning and ice maker are in top form, and all bedrooms (plus the main living room) have TVs. Wifi connection was flawless. The best part, to my mind, is the location. The house sits on a very quiet street that runs parallel to the Gulf. All the other houses for blocks around are single family, one- or two-story; every house is different--this is not a builder's development. High rise hotels and condos are located far away. This means that the beach feels like a private beach, with very few other people. The sand is just as everyone describes--pure white, soft, powdery. The Gulf water is usually crystal clear, and about waist deep for a long way out. Waves are gentle. This makes the beach and water very child-friendly. The shops, restaurants, fishing pier, etc are about a mile away. A few minutes east is a national park (Gulf Islands National Park, I think) with miles and miles of beach and sand dunes, totally undeveloped. Pensacola (the city) is maybe 15 minutes away, with an amazing and huge fish market (Joe Patti's Seafood Market), lots of restaurants, and the excellent military air museum at the Naval Air Station. All in all, Four de Leigh is a gem!"

  • Great house; wonderful owner

"Our family was traveling to Pensacola for our beach wedding and this house was PERFECT. We had around 10 adults and was very roomy. The house was perfect, because it was two separate families and we were not on top of one another, which was GREAT. We also enjoyed that the beach was so close and walking distance to everything. Danny was great to work with and hope that we will be able to rent this home for our future vacations."

  • Beach Wedding With Families

"Our family rented this house for our daughter’s beach wedding. We had 7 adults and 2 teens with plenty of room for all. The groom’s family rented next door with 10 adults and 2 children. It was so nice to go between houses and spend time on the beach together. Every step of the rental process went very smooth. Questions answered and everything ready when we arrived. The welcome book and basket makes it easy to just get started and not have to run to the store as soon as you arrive. We loved that we could walk even with children to Native Café for breakfast and other restaurants for lunch and shopping. We made good use of the provided beach towels, toys, and beach chairs. When you arrive by plane it is nice not to have to worry about those items. Inside the house there is a nice laundry room where we had a sink to do the flowers for the wedding and ironing of everyone’s clothes. The dinning table large enough for 10 is great for dinner and games. We had a quick 4 days with lots of wedding stuff to do but still managed time on the beach getting to know our new family. Also the morning we drank coffee on the porch and watched surfers and later dolphins was unexpected fun! The wedding was on the beach but because of possible rains we hung lights under the house and even found left over tiki torches in the storeroom. The rain started just as we finished pictures on the beach so we moved under the house and popped the champagne and toasted till time to go to dinner. The porch under the house is very nice with a picnic table, chairs and a swing. The elevator was nice for moving in and out but that’s all we used it for because it is very easy to go out the front or back of the house. We can't wait until we can bring everyone back for a longer stay... thank you again for your wonderful home on the beach."
