"This is our second year to rent this beautiful condo for a week. The location is perfect. The views are amazing. The beach area is just beautiful as are the pool areas. The beach chair setup is a very nice added perk included. The condo is nice and clean and all you could hope for in a vacation rental. The owner is wonderful to work with. He makes it so easy for you to make reservations with him. I cannot say enough good things about this condo or its owners. You will not be sorry you rented this condo as it's amazing. We have stayed in the area about ten years and I can say this is our favorite condo so far. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful condo."Guest: Tennessee Vols Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 22, 2014View listing
"My husband & I & our dog had the best vacation ever this year. This is our third year renting from Mr. Joe & Mrs. Lynn & we are always more & more amazed at how wonderful it is to stay in their condos. If you are looking for a quiet place that has easy access to wonderful beaches & great restaurants, shopping, waterparks, etc., this is the perfect home away from home. Every time we go they always make us feel so at comfortable, so welcome. It is the best pet friendly we have found so far, & believe me our dog knows when he is welcome, he did a happy dance when we got there. He knows the condominiums so well now, when we got there he ran right up to the door. The beach is located right across the street, we found seashells, sand dollars, etc. the water was crystal clear, & so beautiful. There is a beautiful pier in the back of the condos with a wonderful gazebo, that sits right out on the bay which is equally as beautiful as the beach. The condos are nestled nicely, & set back from the main beach road so it is so peaceful & quiet. Mrs. Lynn has the condominiums beautifully decorated & this adds to the beauty of the entire experience. We have found our permanent vacation spot. Thank you Mr. Joe & Mrs. Lynn for making our vacations beautiful memories that we will never forget."Guest: Sharon Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 23, 2014View listing
"Our family of 2 plus another couple thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Good Haven House. Everything was as described in the profile of the house, down to the types of fish we caught off the dock! The home is very well kept, roomy with comfortable beds, plenty of linens, and a great kitchen. As other reviewers have noted, the steps both inside and outside are a bit steep, so may give trouble to some, though we had no issues. The house location has the benefit of being near to beaches, restaurants, and community activities but at the same time is secluded and quiet for those who appreciate solitude. We had no problems during our stay, the homeowner was very accessible to answer any questions prior to our arrival, the housekeeping staff that we met on our last day was very friendly and accomodating, and our deposit was returned within days of our departure. We especially appreciate such a nice place that allowed our pets to accompany us on vacation. Thank you, Good Haven House! We look forward to another visit. P.S. Really, don't miss the sunsets from the dock when you stay here! Pictures simply cannot do them justice!"Guest: Jen Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 28, 2014View listing
"We've been lucky enough to visit many places through the years that made us rethink what "vacation" means: Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Tracy Arm Fjord, South of France, Nassau, New Orleans, Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, DC, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, London, Yosemite, Tahoe/Reno/Vegas - and on and on and on. Now we have to add Bill & Elise's condo to the list. Really. Not just Perdido Key - we've been there a bunch of times. But this time - Maahhhh-bah-lous. Hassle free - check. Exactly as advertised - check. Clean and well maintained - check. Seven full, worry-free, stress-free days of relaxation - check. Did I mention hassle free? Perfect? Nope. But neither am I. We spent a few nights in Mississippi for Cruising the Coast 2014 and then took a slow roll through Fairhope on the way to 403 OBW for a week on the beach in Perdido. In October. Man, it don't get better than that. We own rental properties and when I have them "fixed up to suit me" - I'm happy. Must work - no complaints yet. I use that same standard for 403 OBW - no complaints. All that to say we hope to do it again, "Same Bat Time - Same Bat Channel" - Good Lord willing. In the meantime, keep up the good work. Looks like you're accustomed to it."Guest: Rick & Penny Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 22, 2014View listing
