  • Absolutely Gorgeous!!

"This condo is so much more than the photos show. It's so spacious and wonderful. We never felt cramped. The view from the balcony was incredible!! We saw dolphins and sting rays from our balcony - which made the kids really happy! The bedding situation was perfect for our family of 5. Our son had a room to himself, which is a rarity (he usually winds up on the sofa bed) and our girls enjoyed the bunk room. We rarely saw the girls when we were in the condo because they loved that room so much. The pool was never crowded and often times, we had it to ourselves. We would definitely love to stay here again when we visit the area. Our daughter loves to hunt for seashells and found more shells in the bay than the beach. Speaking of the beach, it's only a 5-10 minute drive from the condo and is very nice. It's worth the $8 for a week of parking there. That particular beach was so clean and not as crowded as some of the other public sites. All in all, this was the perfect place to stay for us!! The owner has been great to work with, too."

  • Great Snowbirding Adventure! 4 1/2 stars!

"As first time snowbirders, we were pleased with our stay in this condo. It was only 125 steps to the white sand, and we took advantage of that! The heated pool got a lot of use by me. The condo is comfortable and homey,as one would expect from a "beach house", but could use some upgrades and minor repairs, which is the only reason I did not give an excellent. My hubby loved the RELAX sign on the windowsill as a reminder of why we were there. We were close to restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and it is a short drive to Pensacola, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores , NAS museum, Johnson's Beach and lots more (including some of our grandchildren). The building caretaker, Tom, was friendly and helpful and there was a nice mix of guests at the Skye. Mike responded quickly from the time we began the booking process through some minor repair requests while we were there, and after we left we received our deposit promptly along with a nice note from him. It was a wonderful stay, and we are already looking forward to renting from Mike again!"
