"This was our first visit to St. George Island and it was lovely. Serenity Now is just a five minute walk to the beach and they provide chairs and toys and a wagon to get it all there! We loved having the heated pool during the cool evenings in March. We swam every night. The house was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of room for everyone to have their space. The kitchen was very functional with all the right cooking implements. We rented bikes from Island Adventures and they were great to work with. Serenity Now is about 1.5 miles from "town" and we biked in a couple times for dinner. We had thought we would bike to the state park but it was too far. I will point out that the house is on the main drag of the island so there was almost always traffic in front of the house. But from the upstairs porches, you can see the ocean and that is a beautiful sight!"

"This is a great condo. Very nice furnishings and décor. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. You will want for nothing. Large bedrooms with flat screen TVs in each. The master bedroom and bath are amazing. There are recent updates in kitchen and every bathroom as well as new flooring. There are even hair dryers provided in the bathrooms. It is close to the pool which is a plus and close to boardwalk to the beach. Every bedroom has its own balcony and you can see the beach/ocean from every balcony. The owners couldn't be nicer to deal with."

"We are a family of 8 adults and one dog that had a fantastic time! A very beautiful home that has plenty of room and privacy with 5 bedrooms and 4 & 1/2 baths. We are from Tampa and drove over 5 hours (passing lots of beaches) to get here and so glad we did! Very peaceful, private, rustic beach (no speed boats, jet skis, no planes flying over with ad banners, no condos or high rise hotels). The home was beautifully decorated and provided everything we needed other than food. We prepared every meal for 5 days and had plenty of dishes, pots & pans. Ping pong was fun in the evenings. The young adults loved the kayak and even took a bike ride to the light house & museum one afternoon; and We took a short walk to the state park along the beach another afternoon. We all agreed that what we will miss most is having every meal together (breakfast, lunch & dinner) on the porch listening to the waves, the gentle breeze and the wonderful view. Lots to do, but everything felt relaxed and slow...the perfect vacation. Also, you can view the sunrise & sunset from the upper porch!
Sissel, the owner was excellent to work with and provided quick responses to each of my questions/emails.
FYI: bring groceries with you, as the only local market on the island is very expensive with limited choices!"

"Our 3 generation family enjoyed a week at Solitude. The house and location were fabulous. The photos accurately represent the house. It was clean and the beach views were fabulous. We all had a great time including our annual corn hole tournament and visiting with each other, playing games into the night, cooking family favorites. The only disappointment were the fold-out sofa beds (broken & lumpy). We used the loft on the 4th floor."
